Lady Smith is quietly sitting in the alfresco outside of the Pennyville Mansion. While reading her favorite book 'Jane Eyre' by Charlotte Brontë and sipping the hot coffee that is suitable for the cold morning season. 

"Mrs. Rema!" 

"Yes, Lady Smith?"

"I have something to favor you."

"What's that Lady?"

"This is the letter that I wrote last night. Please give it to the message-carrier! This is an important letter for Lady Florentine."

"Okay, Lady Smith! Will follow…" Mrs. Rema speaks then she's bowing slightly her head to Lady Smith. 

"Thank you, Mrs. Rema! You are really reliable! I didn't make a mistake letting you in here at the mansion!"

"Don't worry, Lady! This is my job to serve you and to your family. I gotta go!"

"Okay, you can leave now."

Esteban went to the place where Lady Smith was staying.

"Good morning aunt Smith!" He spokes enthusiastically greets his aunty.

"A top of the morning to you! Ohh! There is something new to you!"

"What's that Aunty?"

"I noticed that your smile reached your ears. What's up? Esteban?"

"Nothing, Aunty! Don't bother that!"

"Ohh! really? You are almost here, that's it! I will tell you something, my nephew."

"About what? Aunty?"

"I make decisions for you. Because you'll know that me and your uncle are now getting older. That's why I think. I need to find your wife to care for you. When your uncle and I are gone… There's someone here by your side."

"What are you saying aunty? Don't tell do you have an illness… cancer?"

"Nothing, Esteban! I haven't… but I want to make progress. You're already in legal age! You need to have a wife! That's why I sent a letter from Lady Florentine. To make an agreement with you and with her daughter Margaret."

"No, Aunty! No! I can't! I don't love her! I love someone else!"

"And who is that girl? Is it Celestine? No! I will not agree with her!"

"But aunty, we are lovers now! I love her and she loves me!"

"Stop, Esteban! This conversation is now done and you can't do anything!"

"No, Aunt! This time, I am not going to listen to you! Just like you said, I am an adult now! I can make decisions of my own!"

"Shut up, Esteban! You make me angry! What you want will not happen! I will marry you to her! Whether you like it or not!"

"AHOY! ESTEBAN! GET BACK HERE!" Lady Smith says while yelling to Esteban. 

Esteban walked away to her Aunty Lady Smith. He was so upset with her. Because of the thoughts that are said of Lady Smith for him. He does not agree with Lady Smith's desire that it should happen for him to marry her to a girl—Margaret. Even though she knows that Esteban is in love with Celestine.

Lord Smith goes to Lady's Smith in alfresco.

"DARLING! WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU BOTH! YOUR NOISE IS SO EARLY IN THE MORNING! WHAT ARE YOU ARGUING ABOUT?" Lord Smith looks bothered by what happened to Esteban and Lady Smith.
