me and Javon had been dating for 2.5 months now and he thought it was about time i should meet his family. Due to how busy his family is, Jaden with his baseball, Jayla with her acting career, DJ helping everyone with everything and jess running the house and keeping them all alive, the only person i have had chance to meet was Javon's little brother Daelo who i absolutely adored. Don't get me wrong i want to meet them, i have only heard good things about them..i am just a bit nervous. We have been waiting till everyone was free so i could meet them all at once and that happened to be tonight at their family dinner.

It was 6pm and i was waiting outside my house as Wanna had just texted me that he was 2 minutes away. I watch his range rover pull up in front of me, and i am quick to hop in as the October breeze was cutting through my jumper. "hi handsome" i say leaning over to give him a peck on the cheek before putting my seatbelt on and leaning back in my seat putting on the seat warmer. "hi beautiful, how are you feeling?" he asks while turning on the car and driving away from the front of my house. "very nervous but also excited" i say with a soft smile, admiring him.

We had just pulled up to his house and my heart was beating like 1000 miles per hour. "just breath Y/n ,there gonna love you. pinkie promise" he says holding out his pinkie knowing i take them very seriously. I slowly connect our pinkie fingers, still wary. Javon pulls me in for a quick kiss before hopping out the car and coming to open my door for me. He bows down holding out his hand, "ma' lady" he says in a horrible posh British accent. I laugh at his cheesiness taking his hand and climbing out the car, keeping hold of his hand as we make our way up to the front door.

After about 10 seconds the door opens to reveal Jess stood there a soft smile plastered on her face, only to turn into a confused one when she sees me. "Wanna, i didn't realise we were having guests over" my heart drops at the sentence. He had not told them. She looks down at our hands that were still interlinked, and a huge grin appears on her face. "You must be Y/n, oh its so lovely to meet you" she says bringing me into a tight hug which after a second of shock i return. "Oh please come in, i will go get the others. wait here!" she says while shutting the door and hurrying off into the house somewhere.

Once she is out of sight i turn to Javon hitting his arm. "ow, what was that for?" he exclaims rubbing his arm. "why didn't you tell them i was coming round? There definitely not going to like me now idiot" i whisper yell through gritted teeth, only to turn it into a toothy grin when the entirety of his family come into the hallway. "Y/n!" Daelo says happily running up to me, giving me a hug. "Hey Dae, how are you?" i say while returning the hug. I look up nervously and smile gently at them. "hi, i am Y/n. its lovely to meet you, i am sorry about intruding i thought wanna told you" i say slightly laughing nervously.

Realisation seems to hit the rest of his family as there confused expressions turn into shocked smiles. Jayla is the first to say something as she runs up to me pulling me into a hug, a common greeting that seems to run in the family, which i am totally fine with by the way! "Oh Y/n its so lovely to finally meet you, your just as gorgeous as Javon said you were" she says as she pulls away from the hug holding my shoulders grinning at me before pulling me in for another quick hug before stepping back, leaving me blushing at her comment. Next to introduce themself was his dad who just shook my hand and introduced himself before reassuring me that i was not intruding. Last but not least, Jaden stepped forward. The person i was most nervous to meet. I don't know what i would do if Javon's quite literal other half didn't  like me. I give him a nervous smile, which he is quick to return before he says "Don't look so scared, i liked you before i even met you Javon has not stopped talking about you for weeks" he says laughing.

Javon's pov:

I watched as Y/n laughed with my family, my heart fluttered as she laughed and a smile appeared on my face. I feel the sofa dip next to me and turn to see Jaden "you really like her don't you?" he says while looking at her. "yeh..i think i love her".
