Me and Jaden have been best friends for nearly a year now, we met in our junior year English class and for some reason just stuck together. I have never felt anything romantic towards him (despite what people say), I know he has had a crush on this girl for a few months now anyways. Despite how many times I have been round to his house I have only seen his twin brother, Javon a few times due to his boxing and acting career. I think the last time I saw him must have been a few months ago when I came round for a sleepover.

Right now me and Jaden were stood in his kitchen covered in flour, we had decided to bake some chocolate chip cookies as we had run out of movies to watch and we were hungry. "ok, Y/n I am going to go change clothes I will be back in a sec" Jaden says while laughing at his flour covered shirt. I nod to him before turning back to the dough, picking up little bits in my hand and rolling them into balls, before placing them on the tray.

I was about 4 cookies in when a hand reaches around me, into the bowl, grabbing a piece of the dough. Startled by this I spin round, only to be met with a familiar face. Javon. Except he looked different, his once soft facial features had become sharper, his buzzed hair was now longer and he had grown. 

"This is really bad" he says grimacing after putting the raw cookie mix in his mouth. "yeh, well your brother made it what did you expect" I say laughing at his disgusted face "how have you been?" "good thanks, you?" he says while taking a sip of his water, presumably to get rid of the foul taste in his mouth. "yeh, schools just kicking my ass" I laugh, rolling some cookie dough in my hand. "shame" he smirks, making me roll my eyes. "bring me up one when your done" he says pointing at the uncooked cookies on the tray, while walking out the kitchen "I want to give you my final verdict"

Me and Jaden had finished the cookies, and were about to eat them when I remembered what Javon said. "I will be right back" I say while sliding a cookie off the tray onto a plate and then putting some milk in a short glass, grabbing them both and exiting the kitchen.

Using my elbow to open his bedroom door, I walk in still balancing the cookie on the small plate. I spot Javon with his headset on playing a game, I walk over and place both the objects that I was holding down next to him on his desk. "Thanks" he smiled looking up at me from his position on his chair. "no problem, enjoy" I say, walking away to the doorway.

"Y/n" he says, causing me to turn around to face him. "would you want to go out sometime, on a date?" "oh um yeh sure" I excitedly say "ok, I will text you" he grins as I exit his room, butterfly's flying around my stomach. Only for them to be squashed when I realise something. Jaden can not know.   

Sorry if this one is bad, I am writing this before bed and I am tired.
