"Crap! I'm way late, An is so gonna kill me for this!" A young boy with hair the colour of a satsuma speedily ran through the bustling streets of Shibuya. "Scuse me! Passing though! Outta the way!" Shouted the boy.
Akito was the type to act charming when you first meet him but at this point there was no need acting goodie goodie because either way he's dead meat. Whether he was charging through the streets like a bull chasing a red flag or he was leisurely walking and waving good morning he was gonna be served on a platter by his childhood friend Shiraishi An.
"I'm making record time!If I take this shortcut I might just make it!" He laughed to himself. "Gotta cut through the woods, then take a left, then go right, then keep going straight. A right again... A... I'm lost." An exasperated sigh left Akito's mouth.
"This is what I get for waking up late. Now what am I gonna do?..." He didn't know whether to laugh or cry. After kicking his feet in the soil for a bit he realised it was probably better to actually try to find his way out rather than risk getting eaten by a bear.
After walking around for what felt like hours for him (it was 10 minutes) he finally stumbled upon a small shop. One he'd surprisingly never seen before.
He slowly edged closer to the shop until he could finally make out the sign. "Aoyagi's... Blossom's? What a weird name." He muttered. Reaching over he gently stroked one of the petals on the flower before him. " What a pretty flower." He smiled to himself.
"It's a Cape Jasmine." Said a soft voice from behind.
"Hmm, a Cape Jasmine? What a pretty na-" As Akito spoke he turned around to see the person who had spoken to him previously before he froze in place. The boy's eyes widened as he stared at the figure behind him.
The figure of a young boy with two-tone hair. One a light blue and the other a dark. He had long lashes and a beauty mark just below his left eye. In his hands lay a bouquet of sunflowers shining ever so brightly in the sunlight.
"Wow..." that's all Akito could say "Wow." From his voice to his gentle demeanour the boy before him was beautiful- No he was gorgeous. For a second Akito had stopped breathing, he was absolutely starstruck.
"OH! Umm, so you said these are Cape Jasmines right? Hehe...he" questioned Akito with a red face. 'Ughh I can't think straight... my face is hot and I can barely even see.' He cried to himself. "Yeah they are." Replied the boy as he let out a small chuckle. Now trodding over to said flower he crouched down and smiled before he spoke once more. "Want it?" "AHAGALSV!!" Now that the boy was closer Akito felt even more embarrassed than he had been earlier. 'He's so close- Am I breathing too heavily? Is my hair a mess? Aghhh how the hell am I supposed to react?!' He cried to himself once more.
"Are you alright? Your face is really red... Do you have a fever?" Asked the boy with a slight frown resting on his face. Scrambling up to his feet Akito speraticky waved his hands before allowing them to cover his face. "N-No! I'm fine! I'll just go now!" Stammered Akito in response. With a 180° turn Akito started bolting the opposite way without turning back.
"Wait! Your flowers!" Called the boy.
Still running as fast as his legs could take him, Akito saw a water fountain he could clean his with. Splash. Leaning over into the metal bowl Akito stared into his reflection. His face was still flushed from when he first saw the boy and he didn't know how to get rid of such a foreign feeling. The boy fell to his knees before the water fountain. 'What am I gonna do?! Do I like him?! He does look cool, we could be friends... but why do I feel like I want something more than that?' He laughed pitifully.
