The month of October seemed to fly by and the women at the club decided to host a big Halloween Party. The men had all objected to having to dress up at first but finally caved in and as it turned out, they all had a blast!
Doug had turned 18 a few days before that and was patched in as "Pencil" mainly because he was so tall and skinny but because of the beautiful pencil pictures he drew for not only Inker's shop. He had also done several of the club's children and their parents. The one he had done from a picture Amanda had shown him of Prez asleep with their son had been so lifelike that you almost expected to be able to hear Prez snore.
Pencil had practiced on pig skin until he was comfortable with the ink gun and had actually done a few that Inker was wishing would keep but the pig skin eventually dried out and the picture became distorted. He had been really nervous with his first person but quickly got over it and now Pencil was excelling at tattooing. Inker had let him set up his own booth in the shop and he was doing a lot of business doing Tramp Stamps on young women who came wanting to flirt with him and Inker.
Inker had hung a large picture of him and Maile in his booth and when women got a little too familiar in trying to touch Inker, he just made them aware that his wife was right next door and would cut her fingers off if she didn't keep her hands to herself. Now instead of taking his shirt off to show off his tattoos, he had pictures taken of them and hung them in the shop as well, at Maile's insistence. She was turning out to be very possessive of him and Inker loved it!
Pencil on the other hand was turning out to be a real casanova with the women and even asked Inker about renting the apartment above Maile's shop so that he didn't have to take his conquests to the club compound to be with them. Prez had had a hard time keeping a straight face but gave his approval since it would be something to keep the men busy during the winter months.
Over the course of the last few months of the year, which was consumed with not only getting her business license and the shop up and running and Andrea's upcoming wedding but the holidays and prospects being patched in. Maile had been surprised at how the other women of the club had pitched in to help not only her but Andrea to get things for the wedding done, especially Heather who was planning on opening an event planning and decorations business.
Maile found her wedding dress and when Andrea had found out that Inker had proposed, she and Joshua begged her to do a double wedding with them. Joshua had even got tears in his eyes when she said she would only agree if Joshua would agree to walk Maile down the aisle.
Because Maile and Inker were going to be involved, Prez agreed to let them have their wedding reception at the club house. Andrea's parents had not been happy about the idea until Maile showed them a picture of what the clubhouse looked like from the outside and the rooms they would be using for the reception. The final way to convince them was to tell them how much money they would save on having to rent a hall and the service to decorate, serve and clean up afterwards. Andrea's parents even offered to split the food bill with them.
They got married in the church in town and it was beautiful. The ole' ladies had gone above and beyond with the decorations. They drove the limo that Leon loaned them around for almost an hour with Andrea's parents and the two newlywed couples with every SUV the club owned in tow, blasting their horns and drinking champagne until even Andrea's stuffy mother was having a good time when they reached the compound.
Chef and Cookie had pulled out all of the stops on the food and the party had lasted until after midnight. Prez made sure that Andrea, Joshua and her parents got back to the hotel in Lexington safely since the only hotel in Winchester was Charlie's and it isn't really nice enough for something like this.
