The Grand Opening of the Rescue Center was a great success! Everyone enjoyed "Andy's Special Chicken", as it had come to be known and he received many requests for the recipe.
The fireworks had been a big hit and everyone had enjoyed themselves. The "party" broke up about 11 pm and Prez ordered Wheels to "discreetly" follow "the watchdog" back to his hotel in Lexington.
Gino and Sharon hand delivered invitations to their wedding next spring and even let them know that Lillian, who was suffering a bout of flu and had not been able to make the trip, had met a nice man and that it seemed to be getting serious but what was even more shocking was that Anthony approved of him!
The next day, Prez led Anthony and Rooster around the new additions to the compound and both men were duly impressed.
"You've managed to accomplish a lot in the past year and a half, Prez. You should be proud of yourself." Anthony told him just before they loaded up to return home.
"I am very proud of my club and all that we've accomplished but I can't take credit for it all. Leon deserves a lot of the credit as do Joe and the other men of the "families". They all worked really hard to get all of this done.
Rooster had objected at first to Anthony sitting in on their meeting about how to handle the scrutiny they had been facing about "Booboo" but he had come up with some good suggestions and after he left, Prez was very relieved that so long as they were careful in the future, they would still be able to take care of business the way they always had.
Rooster and his crew stayed for three days but then they had to go home and things returned to normal, well at least as normal as possible. Unfortunately, until the world changed, there would always be a need for men like the bikers with the MSMC and the Rescuer's MC!
The End!
