You listened to the audio once more, and again, and again. You weren't sure why you were listening to it over and over, all you knew is that you were looking for something. Something that could clarify you if he was joking or not."I don't like you." He spoke, no hint of joking in his voice. He wasn't joking. You couldn't take it anymore, you threw your phone across the room, curling into a ball onto your bed and softly sobbing, not wanting to alert the others of your sadness.
He was in his room, not wanting to see you either, last thing he needed was another annoyance by you. He assumed it was a joke, and he was going to laugh it off but you had stomped upstairs and slammed your door. He fucked up.
You looked in your closet, thats right, you had a rope, you could use that. Leaning against your door, you listened for any footsteps, none came. You tied the rope to the door handle keeping it closed, the rope was just long enough to make it to the ground outside. You packed a bag, filling it with clothes, food and drink, and anything else you might need, you knew where you were going, there was an abandoned house just a few miles away that the guys didn't know about, they wouldn't find you.
Slinging your backpack over your shoulders and climbing down the rope, once you had gotten to the bottom, you slid the rope off the door handle in your room, pulling it down to you and throwing it in the rockery by the side of the house, beginning to run down the street, finding your way to the abandoned house. It was around midnight, so you had to be careful of dangerous people, the last thing you wanted was to end up in the hospital with the boys asking about what happened, especially not him.
Nick was worried about you, he felt bad for rejecting you, especially when he didn't mean it. He went to your door and knocked, "____? You in there?" He opened the door. "I just wanted to talk about earlier a really didn't mea-" Nick looked around, you were nowhere to be seen and your window was wide open, you hated the cold, why would the window be open, especially in winter?
You had already reached the abandoned house by now and were walking through it, listening to the floorboards creak beneath you, looking at different things left behind. The bright side to staying here was that if any kids or explorers came by, you could scare the shit out of them. Checking your phone, you noticed you had multiple missed calls and messages from most of your friends.
You were listening as Nick called you again, answering this time, it was on facetime, "Hey, Nick." You smiled showing off the abandoned building you were currently staying in.
"____! Where the fuck are you?!" He yelled alerting the others that you had finally answered the call.
"Abandoned house!" You shouted, looking around in joy as your voice echoed through the house.
Nick looked at you in shock. "Get out of there! You're gonna get fucking murdered!"
You laughed at him, hanging up, pity for you, you had left your snapchats map on, so they figured out where you were and got in Nick's car, driving to where your snapmap said. They were led to the decrepit old house, it looked as if it had been bombed, it would be a terrible place to stay if it was raining as there was no roof.
Isaac and Nick ran into the house, searching for you inside.
