His head hit the pillow with a light thud, his eyes admiring the ceiling through the blue of his tears.
Nick had never been the type to cry, and when he did, he always had a reason. Not this time.
He was never sure why he was crying. He only felt the need to do so.
Maybe he was having trouble editing, Nick considered it for a moment. He knew what it was now.
Nick was bottling up his emotions. It had pent up inside him, he had to release it at some point. And that point was now.
He sat up, leaving his room and going to Yumi's. Nick softly knocked, getting the tallest attention, who was surprisingly not streaming.
"What's up, Nick?" Yumi began, not sure where he was going with this. "You never come into my room without a reason."
Nick sniffled, making Yumi realise why he was here. Yumi sat up in his chair, using his hand to beckon Nick over to him. "C'mere," Yumi waited as Nick came over, standing up to meet the shorter. "Why're you crying?"
Yumi watched patiently, while Nick found the right words to explain. "Um-Um, I..." He tried to speak, breaking his sentence into two with a choked sob. "I...I don't know why I was crying but it might've been over you!" He rambled, accidentally shouting at Yumi.
The taller sat back down in his chair, grabbing Nick's hand and tugging him onto his lap. "Baby, It's okay." Yumi spoke softly, the joke nicknames slipping out, only this time it wasn't a joke. "You don't need to cry over me, I'm right here. I love you."
Nick shook his head, "No you don't understand," He sobbed, "Yumi, I was crying because..." He paused, "Because I love you and you're straight and you would never date me anyway and I-" Yumi shut him up with a kiss, snaking his arms around Nick's waist, holding him close.
They broke the kiss, Yumi planting kisses on Nick's jawline. "Nick, I've loved you since we first met and I now know you feel the same way." Yumi whispered in Nick's ear, the two of them closer than ever.
"Yumi...I love you." Nick sniffled once more, stopping his tears.
"I love you too." Yumi responded, Nick's legs wrapping around Yumi's waist.
