That's what you were when you saw his body.
It wasn't like before, no not even close to what it looked like the first time you saw him topless.
It was black and blue all over.
Your eyes traveled to his left arm, it was scattered with scars. How were you not able to find out about this?
Maybe Kanato was right, it was you who drifted away from him. If you didn't, then you could've stopped him.
"Y/N."
Your thoughts was snapped by his voice. "I-It's not your fault." He said.
He sounded really weak, the tears in your eyes couldn't help but escape. "Why?" You whispered.
He looked at the other people. "Make them leave."
His two brothers started protesting, claiming that they want to know to. But the nurse pulled them away, she knew he wouldn't spill unless it was only you.
"Fuck, Kanato. Why would you do this to yourself?"
"Because I was shit to you. I never realized that until yesterday when, you were shouting at me."
"Then it's my fault!" You cried. "It's my fucking fault!"
"It's not your fault Y/N. It was my choice to double my punishment."
To double his punishment. What the hell does he mean? "What? Double your punishment?"
He sighed. "It's a long story."
"Long story, I've got all the fucking time-"
"No, you don't. Lunch is done, you're need to go back to class."
"Kanato, I've got all the fucking time." You said sternly. You seriously didn't care about anything but him right now, classes can go later.
He bit his lip for a few seconds before speaking. "Fine. I'll tell you. After my father bailed me, he started to come every start of the week."
You recalled the conversation your heard from your dad and the other policeman. That's when you had a realization.
Hoping for you to be wrong, you asked him to continue. "Then?"
"He would punish, or so he likes to call it, discipline me in those night he'd come."
