Y/n POV
It has been a couple months since Rhaenyra began her tour to find a husband and throughout these months my son Aerys is now 3 names day and I couldn't be a proud father. It has been four years since I seen my father since he went to war in the Stepstones with Lord Corlys. Right now I'm at Rhaenys hill with my son and our dragons. Aerys dragon has grown to a size of a dog and Jaelys has been teaching her how to hunt outside of Kingslanding. It was also the first time I let Aerys ride a dragon with me. Safe to say he loved it as he kept screaming excitedly. After a while we had to head back to the Red Keep so we left and headed back to the Red Keep. Then the handmaidens came in and took Aerys as they told me that the king request an audience since my father is back so I headed to the throne room where a bunch of people are in.
I see my wife Allyria with her sworn sword Cassella of house Dayne and also her secret lover that me and Rhaenyra know about, so I went and stood by them when I see Rhaenyra coming up to next to me as my father came in with a crown on his head. Me and Rhaenyra greeted each other before everything went silent as my father walked up to the throne where uncle is before being stopped by the Kingsguard unsheathing there swords and point it at my fathers chest. Father grabbed a weapon that looks like a weapon from the Stepstones and threw it to the floor. "Add it to the chair." Father told him as he stepped back. It was silent as uncle looked at my father. "You wear a crown. Do you also call yourself king?" Uncle Viserys asked him.
"Once we smashed the Triarchy, they named me King of the Narrow Sea." Father said as people began murmuring when they heard that. "But I know that there is only one true king, your Grace." Father said before kneeling down and bowed at uncle before everyone's eyes. "My crown and Stepstones are yours." Father said as he took the crown off his head. "Well, where is Lord Corlys?" Uncle Viserys asked him. "He sailed home to Driftmark." Father told him. "Who holds the Stepstones?" Uncle asked him. "The tides, the crabs, and 2,000 dead Triarchy corsairs, staked to the sand to warn those who might follow." Father told him. Uncle Viserys walked up to him using his sword as a cane and stopped in front of him. Father gave him the crown as Viserys passed it to Ser Harrold to hold.
Everyone stood silently wondering what the king will do to his brother as Rhaenyra stood next to me watching them. "Rise." Uncle Viserys told him. Father stood up until uncle bring him into a hug making me and everyone else clap. "The realm owes you a great debt, brother. Come." Uncle Viserys said and walked out the throne room as Viserys told everyone to have a feast. We were outside as Allyria has Aerys with us as I see Rhaenyra at the table with food on it. I walked up to father, uncle and Alicent as uncle is kind of drunk as he talks as Allyria held Aerys in her arms. "Daemon, he would venture off, abroad, winning tournaments." Uncle said as father talks to him. "No, no, no, no, no, no. I will not revisit this debate. You were always mother's favorite." Uncle told him as he turned to me, Allyria and Alicent as I saw Rhaenyra walk towards us. "No, it's no great mystery. You were." Uncle said as Rhaenyra stood next to me.
"Our mother, she had no regard for custom or tradition, rules. And I, sadly was no great warrior." Uncle said to father. "Congratulations on your victory." Rhaenyra said to father as Viserys didn't say anything to her as he is angry at her. "Thank you, princess." Father said. It was an awkward silence when Alicent spoke up trying to ease the tension a bit. "Perhaps Prince Daemon would care for a tour of the gallery? He hasn't yet seen the new tapestries gifted to you by Norvos and Qohor." Alicent said to uncle. "Oh, oh. Would you like to see the tapestries?" Uncle asked father when they both started to laugh. "He has no interest in such things." Viserys told her as he kept laughing. "I'd like to see them." Rhaenyra told her as uncle stopped laughing and stared at her. "Oh, well, then you should not deprive yourself." He told her. Viserys needs to stop acting like a child and giving her a cold shoulder, he's a grown man playing a childish game to his own daughter. "I shall enjoy them alone." Rhaenyra said before walking away with Allyria behind her. I decided to follow them as they sat down as father stared at us.
