Y/n POV

Me and father went to a cave that Syrax and Jaelys stays. We walked in as father knelt down and took out three eggs from Syrax clutch. I opened the bag I held as he put the eggs in gently. We both walked out and met with dragon keepers. "Syrax brought a fresh clutch. Three eggs." Father said. I took the bag and gave it to the dragon keepers. "See that they are placed in the warming chamber." I told them. "At once, my Prince. The maester brought this. It just arrived from the lady Baela on Driftmark." The dragon keeper said to father. Father grabbed the letter and opened it and read it.

Father looks like he is angry when he read the letter. "What's wrong?" I asked him. "It's best if you and Rhaenyra are together to know, daughter." Father told me. I nodded as we headed back to the castle. Me and father walked in as I smiled at my pregnant wife who is at any moment will give birth. "Leave us." Rhaenyra told Jace and the maester. "Joffrey, come." Jace said to Joffrey who immediately followed his older brother. I kissed Rhaenyra's head as father gave her the letter as we both read it.

"He means to call into question Luke's legitimacy. And by extension Jace and Visenya, and by extension my own claim to the throne." Rhaenyra said. "Vaemond only cares about Driftmark and the Velaryon line. Not about our politics. Has he made common cause with Otto Hightower yet?" Father said to us. "Hm, this is what I fear. Rhaenys has flown to court. Surely she cannot be planning to back him." Rhaenyra said to us. "No. Whatever disagreements we may have had, she's not cruel or stupid enough to do that." I told her. "Disagreements? She believes we had her son killed so that we might marry." Rhaenyra said to me.

"Yes and yet, she's taken Baela to ward." I told her. "Yes. It is Laena's memory she honors. She has no love for us." Rhaenyra told us. "Has the vipers venom spread so far?" I asked. "Those vipers rule in my father's name. And my father. What choice do I have?" Rhaenyra asked. I gently put my hand on her pregnant belly as I feel my child kick making me smile. "To Kings landing, then." I said.

4 days later

We sailed to kings landing and we finally arrived. Rhaenrya, me and father in one carriage while our children is in the other carriage. We then arrived at the Red Keep, the carriage stops as I hear Ser Steffon Darklyn. "All hail Rhaenyra of House Targaryen, princess of Dragonstone and heir to the Iron Throne and her royal consort prince Y/n Targaryen." Ser Steffon said. Rhaenrya got our first then it was me and then father but what I noticed is that no one came to greet us. The doors open and I see a lord Caswell who came up to Rhaenrya. "Welcome back, princess." Lord Caswell greeted her as the children came out of their carriage.

"Lord Caswell." She greeted before the three of us walked into the Red Keep as the children went to do their own thing. I see the seven pointed star that was replaced making me look at it in disgust. "I would say it's nice to be home, but I scarcely recognize it." Rhaenrya said to us. Me and father both hummed before walking to uncles chambers. Rhaenrya opened his door and I see that his building of Old Valyria has cobwebs that he hadn't touched in what looks like years.

We walked further into the room as Rhaenrya went to the curtains and open it slightly as I hear wheezing coming from uncle Viserys. "Father?" Rhaenyra said before walking near his bed as I followed her but father didn't go any further probably not wanting to see his brother in this state. I hold my breath as I saw uncle Viserys of half of his face is covered and he looks weak and fragile. What have the greens been doing to him?! "Who goes there?" Uncle Viserys asked. "Father. It's me, my king. Rhaenrya." Rhaenrya told him.
