Her name was Celestine, but everyone affectionately called her Celes. She was more than just a pretty face. With her chestnut hair and a statuesque figure, she carried herself with grace and intellect. Her radiant smile and kindness were like a magnet, drawing admirers like moths to a flame. But amidst the crowd of her admirers, one person held a special place in her heart-Cade.

Cade, a tall and brooding classmate, was often misunderstood by others due to his reserved nature. With sun-kissed skin and an imposing presence, he might have seemed distant, but to Celes, he was a keeper both on and off the soccer field.

As Cade's birthday approached, he harbored a secret wish-to invite Celes to his celebration. Yet, shyness and uncertainty gripped him. What if she declined? His fear of rejection seemed insurmountable.

Then, a brilliant idea struck Cade. He decided to send Celes a personalized birthday invitation, requesting her presence at his private backyard gathering, away from the prying eyes of others.

He sent the invitation with bated breath, heart pounding with anticipation. Half an hour later, his phone chimed with her response: "Yes, I would love to come. Thank you for inviting me."

Relieved and elated, Cade heaved a sigh of relief and started preparations for his special day.

Meanwhile, Celes was in disbelief. Cade had extended an invitation to her-a dream come true. But one question lingered in her mind: Why did he choose his backyard for this intimate occasion?

Pushing aside her curiosity, she embarked on a quest to find the perfect gift for Cade. After hours of contemplation, it struck her. Cade had a soft spot for cats, and she was certain of it. Her choice was clear-an elegant Angora cat with pristine white fur.

"You're going to a wonderful home," Celes whispered to the feline, a contented smile on her face as she left the pet shop with her precious gift.

She wholeheartedly dedicated herself to caring for the cat, knowing it would soon belong to Cade. As the day of his birthday drew near, the mystery behind his choice of venue continued to intrigue her. She meticulously chose a midnight-blue gown adorned with twinkling stars, believing it to be the perfect choice for the occasion.

The special day arrived, and Cade had asked her to come at 9 pm, after the main event. As the clock struck 9, Celes donned her elegant attire, the Angora cat in her arms, and embarked on the short journey to Cade's home, just a mile away.

The night was nothing short of enchanting, with a cloudless sky adorned with countless stars. A shy crescent moon peeked through the trees, creating a magical atmosphere.

Arriving at Cade's cozy home, she found him stargazing, lost in thought.

"Hi," she greeted him with a bashful smile, joining him in his contemplation.

"Oh, you're here. I wasn't sure you'd come ...," Cade confessed, his voice soft and tender.

"Of course, I'm here," Celes replied. "You asked, and I couldn't miss this golden opportunity. By the way, happy birthday!"

As they stood beneath the starry night, Cade felt it was time to share the secret behind his choice of location.

"Maybe you're wondering why I invited you here instead of my house?" he asked.

With curiosity dancing in her eyes, Celes responded, "Yes, I was indeed curious. Is there a special reason?"

Cade took a deep breath and looked into her eyes. "I like you."

Silence hung in the air before Celes broke into a smile. "I like you too."

Cade, overwhelmed by the revelation, stammered, "Would you go out with me?"

Celes' answer was a resounding "Of course I want to!"

Cade couldn't believe his luck. "Wow, this is incredible."

Overcome with emotions, Celes decided it was time for her to reveal her own surprise. She handed the Angora cat to Cade.

"It's yours," she said with a smile. "A birthday gift from me."

Cade, taken aback, exclaimed, "Huh? Mine? But I ...."

"Yes, it's yours, as a birthday gift," Celes insisted.

Cade accepted the gift with gratitude, and the moment was filled with warmth and affection. Celes then leaned in, planting a small kiss on his cheek. "That ... is also a gift from me."

Cade, his heart pounding, embraced Celes and whispered, "I love you."

"I love you too."
