The bar was noisy and full of life tonight. You continued to sit at the far end of the bar, minding yourself. Just as you took another sip from your drink, an older man approached you.

"Boy, you sure look young to be at a bar," he said, looking at you. You chuckled a bit uncomfortably.

"You've got a nice, handsome face there...why don't I buy you another drink and we can hang out at my place for a bit?" he asked, reaching his hand towards you. You moved away a bit.

"Ah...no, thanks. I actually have to get going," you said, finishing off your drink. You then left. The man trailed behind you out the door.

"Aw, come on. You're alone...I'm alone...why not?" he asked.

"I don't know you, for one...two, I've really got to get back home. Alone," you said. Though going home wasn't your intention, in case your ex might have still been lurking around.

"Come on, don't be a buzzkill," the man said.

"Hey," a deep voice said. You and the man noticed a giant, hellish-looking, casually-dressed black bear leaned against the wall, smoking.

"You heard him," the bear said, standing to his full, intimidating height.

"Fuck off," he said, finishing his sentence. The man's face immediately went pale. You and the bear watched as the man quickly left.

"Thanks," you said to the bear. You looked up at him. Damn was he hot.

"I've seen far too much of that tonight," he said, blowing a puff of smoke the opposite direction of where you were standing.

"Though I'd be careful. That prolapsed asshole could be hanging around somewhere to try and follow you home," he said. He lifted your chin.

"Though I don't blame him for wanting to fuck you. You are a submissive-looking little thing," he said, his Hell-red rubies looking down at you. He pulled away from you.

"I would say stick around for a bit, but...who knows what'll happen to a decent-looking face like yours," he said.

"Then what are you suggesting? I'm not looking to go home with strangers," you said.

"I'm not suggesting you to go home with any strangers," he said, looking back at you.

"There's a hotel right around the corner. Fees might be cheap, and the outside might look rough, but the place is surprisingly clean," he said, pointing in a direction. You wanted to keep talking to this bear. His voice alone was so deep, rich, and smooth, it was enough to send shivers down your spine. He blew another puff of smoke.

"Guessing by your silence, you're just listening to me talk at this point," he said. Your body twinged a bit as his crimson eyes looked back down at you. He hummed.

"If you're interested in finding your way to the hotel, I'm headed there myself. I can't stand being back at home with those annoying fuckers that live with me," he said.

"Oh..." was all you could say. He smirked. He had you entranced without using his magic to do so. The fact that you showed no fear of him and your interactions with him told him everything he needed to know. He finished his cigarette, putting it out and tossing it into the receptacle next to him. He walked away, going to his car. He looked at you before getting in. You stood there for a moment. It seemed he was waiting for you. You didn't know where this was going, but something about him compelled you. Your entire body tingled. You then went over to your car, getting in.

The bear chuckled as he watched you get into your car. He situated, and began to drive off. The hotel wasn't too far off, so the drive wasn't too terribly long. He soon pulled into the parking lot, seeing you pull in beside him. He got out of his car, then you got out of yours. You followed him into the hotel, which was only a few stories high. He was right. The place was rough and rugged looking on the outside, but on the inside it looked clean and neat. The bear walked off to the side of the lobby.
