The next night, you breathed softly as you slept. Nightmare stared down at you. It felt forbidden for him to take interest in you, let alone sleep with you because you were a human, but something about you intrigued him in a way no human ever had before. He sighed softly before leaving the room. You woke up shortly after. You looked around. You looked at the nightstand, to which there was a note and a tray in place of the one that was there before. You picked up the note.

"Don't hesitate to leave the room, just be sure you eat first," it read. You uncovered your food, which was steaming. It was another one of your favorite foods with your favorite drink. What a coincidence... You began to eat, and once you were through, you went and took a hot shower, which was more than enough to relax your body. You winced slightly, as the bite wound on your shoulder stung a little from the hot water.

After some time, you were out of the shower and had dried off. You walked out of the bathroom and tilted your head. Clothes, seemingly fitting to you, laid neatly on the bed. You picked up the clothes and got dressed. Oddly enough, the clothes smelled like Nightmare. The scent wasn't the scent of smoke, but Nightmare's natural scent mixed with a bit of an alluring-smelling cologne. The clothes were silky and flow-y. They weren't too loose nor too tight. You then decided you'd walk around for a bit. You carefully opened the door, peering outside to see if anyone was around. Thankfully, no one was around. You hummed and stepped out of the room. You walked down the hall, admiring the elegant designs that adorned the walls and the floor. A chill ran down your spine as you felt as if something cold passed straight through you. You looked around. There was nothing. You kept walking. A few monsters stared at you as you passed by, making your way down from floor-to-floor until you hit the second floor.

"Well, well," a deep voice said quietly as you walked past a nearby pillar. You turned around, seeing the very same golden bear you had locked eyes with the night before. He was propped against the thick pillar. He hummed and stood to his full height. He was nearly as tall as Nightmare. He was dressed as elegantly as Nightmare was. He held a rocks glass, casually taking a sip from it.

"Care for a drink?" he asked.

"Uhh...sure," you replied. He hummed and walked over to the bar area, which was more towards the back. You followed him. He walked behind the counter and looked you over. He hummed once more.

"Most of our liquors aren't necessarily human-friendly, as they do consist of certain ingredients known to kill humans, however, we do have a selection of fixes for the occasional human that drops by," he said. He turned his back to you, selecting a bottle off of one of the shelves and opening it, pouring it into a rocks glass. He faced you once more, placing the glass down in front of you. You thanked him, receiving a nod in response.

"It is...odd. Usually humans come here to die. Though I sense that is not the case with you. You came here on other terms," he said. He leaned towards you as you took a sip of your drink.

"Though.....no human has ever traveled through here bearing Nightmare's scent," he said. You froze a bit, looking at him. You put your drink down.

"Ah...well, he is the reason I'm here, actually," you spoke.

"If so, then how is it he hasn't killed you yet? Unless he favors you..." the bear said. You blushed a bit.

"Oh, I see. You're his little toy. Aren't you?" he asked. Your blush darkened.

"A monster, mating with a human? How interesting. I was wondering why I saw you standing on the balcony to his room last night," he said. Your body language was a bit stiff at the moment.

"Forgive me for prodding. It's just...strange, that a human would take such interest in my brother and have him return the interest," he said.

"Yeah...I'll admit...it is...rather odd that a monster seems to be fond of me...for reasons unknown..." you said.
