this boy

part two

   I woke up at 5pm to get ready for my job. I did minimal make up and put my hair into a high ponytail sticking the top part down so all the baby hairs would stay. I put on the blue dress it fit perfectly hugging all the right places. I put on my work flats and headed out the door. I got to my new job around 6:30. I was greeted by carmen.

"Good evening Claudia" she smiled "I was just about to head out but let me introduce you to the closing shift. The chef is Marc and the older lady you meet the other day is Angie she runs the counter you will be running trays and plates out here plus taking orders sorry to throw you in the deep end but if you need help just let Angie know okay?"

"That's perfectly fine I kinda learned the menu last night to keep me awake so my sleep schedule would line up with this"

"I see well good luck see you in the morning" carmen waved and left I started taking orders soon it slowed down. Around 2a.m. a group of men came in 4 of them one was blonde the next was heavier set with a man bun the next looked like a typical stoner he had dark hair but dyed blonde on top the last was probably the most interesting he was fit with brown hair and piercing blue eyes.

"Hey Angie working late again" the blonde one smiled as they sat down

"You know it sam boys this is our new server she is from New York. Claudia these boys are some of our regulars Sam Corey Jake and Colby. Now boys you be nice to this young lady.

"Of course Angie" the boy with piercing blue eyes smiled at me as I walked over to them.

"Alrighty fellas what can I get started for ya?" I smiled

"I'll have eggs bacon and waffles" they man Angie called sam awnsered with a smile.

"And to ďrink"

"Dr.pepper"

"I'll have hash browns and an omelet with ham please can I get a coke too please" the guy with a man bun awnsered

"Of course and I know this gentleman is sam from Angie talking to you but would you guys introduce your self so I can make a mental note" I looked up

"Yeah no problem I'm corey" the guy with the man bun awnsered.

"Alrighty and you sir" I motioned to the gentleman with blonde hair.

"I'm Jake ill have French toast with eggs sunny side up and sausage can I also get orange juice" he smiled

"Alrighty and last but not least you must be colby then right?" I smiled again.

"I am and can I get pancakes hash browns and sausage please" he smiled at me a smile that would melt anyone.

"Alrighty so let me read this back for you guys..." I read back everyone's orders pointing to each they all nodded and I put the order in soon I got the food and placed it in front of them. I went back to help Angie clean the counter and organize. They boys left and I cleaned up seeing they left a good sized tip 50 bucks. I split it with Angie as well. The night carried on slowly soon 7 a.m rolled around and I left.
