    Colby and I have been hanging out since we did his photo shoot. I got all the photos back to sam and colby I was able to work less hours at the dinner, since more clients have been coming in. Today was my day off from shoots and editing as well as no dinner shift. I was laying on my bed when I got a text from colby.

Cb- Colby Cm-claudia

Cb: hey you free today?

Cm: yeah I am what's up?

Cb: wanna hang out today

Cm:sounds good ima get ready what type of outfit?

Cb: casual outfits and sounds good pick you up in 30?

Cm: sounds perfect

     I put my phone down my phone and started getting ready I took a quick shower and started drying my hair I texted him to just come in when he gets here. I started to straighten my hair and do my make up, I heard the door open.

"Claudia its colby" I heard him call.

"Hey I'm in the bathroom" I called back

"Hey" he walked into the door way.

"Hey hey" I put some lip gloss on.

"Almost ready?"

"Yeah just got to get dressed"

"Sounds good" colby moved to the side so I could walk pasted him I quickly got dressed in black jeans and a blue croptop, sliding on my blue vans.

"Alrighty I'm ready"

"Okay sounds good" colby smiled and opened the door "after you"

"Thank you" I laughed and walked out colby followed be hind we got in his car and started driving colby won't tell me where. We listened to music soon one of my favorite songs came out Studder bý Marianas Trench, I started singing along. Half way through the song I notice colby smiling and glancing over at me.

"What?" I ask furrowing my brows

"Nothing didn't know you could sing"

"I sing all the time" I laughed "I use to be in choir"

"You sound good" colby and pulled into a parking lot I look up and see the sign it's an amusement park. "We are here"

"This is going to be fun" I laugh.

"Come on let's go" colby smiles and gets out of his car I grab my card and hide my purse in the back seat before getting out.

"Can you put my card in your wallet?" I look at colby

"Yeah just remind me to give it back" Colby takes my card sliding it into his wallet. We head to get our tickets. Colby paid for both of us causing me to give him a glare. "What?!"

"I could of paid for my own ya know"

"I do but today is my treat I asked you to hang so no arguing"

"Ughhh fine" I smile "if I must let a handsome lady pay for me to day I won't fight it"

"Handsome?" Colby raised an eyebrow and I blushed

"Oh look a ride let's go" I quickly change the subject causing him to laugh we went on rides and played games it was sunset now and we were getting on the ferris wheel.

"Soo" colby looked at me as we went up

"Yes?" I looked back at him smiling

"We should take a picture" colby took his phone out and raised it I leaned into colby smiling colby snapped a few pictures nice ones then goofy ones the last one he took he kissed my cheek making me blush.

"What was that for" my face was as red as a tomato

"Claudia I like you alot" he smiled "I don't know if you feel the same but I like you and needed to tell you"

I was taken back, it had been a while since anyone has said they liked me and for me to like anyone. While I did like colby alot I was scared to love again for many reasons.

"Colbs i- I need to tell you some thing after we got off can we go some where to  talk?"

"Yeah we can" he smiled slightly worried soon we got off and drove to colbys house we greeted everyone and headed up to his room. Colby gently closed the door be hind him I sat on his couch.

"So whats up?" Colby sat beside me

"Colby I think I like you to and before you read to much into that. I was in a long abusive relationship it ended when I was 17 I've never dated again after that because I was scared to love or be loved. And even at the age that I am I'm not sure I know what love is anymore." My eyes slightly watered

"Hey its okay you don't have to tell me but I'm here if you do" he gently placed a hand on my arm

"I want to tell you because I want to continue being friends with you and if something does develop I don't want to blind side you with the information"

"Okay" colby softly smiled and nodded

"I meet this guy Mark when I was 15 he was super sweet at first and thought full we started dating not to long after meeting. As the relationship continued he got mean and left marks on me he even tried to use my body but I decked him for that but he would hit me and cut me degrade me and make me feel like terrible person he would accuse me of cheating on him or that I was lying he would check my phone. One day I caught him cheating and he hit me. I broke up with him after that when I was 17."

"Claudia I'm so so sorry and I completely understand I won't force anything on you and I would never do that I promise. How about this for now we will see what happens just be friends." Colby weakly smiled

"I'd like that" I softly laughed and hugged him he wrapped his arms around me hugging me softly

"Movie?"

"Yes please" I smiled

"Okay movie it is then" he laughed
