It was in the middle of the night when Reaper awoke with a start. The cramps and contractions had been steadily growing worse throughout her pregnancy. But right now, it seriously hurt. She shook her husband awake and called their resident doctor. Offender willed himself awake and hurried to get warm towels, water bottles, and everything else. The doctor arrived minutes later. Reaper held her husband's hand as she quickly got to work. Luckily, the couple had already built a nursery down the hall.

An hour passed. And, finally, Reaper was holding two babies in her arms. She had twins, a boy and a girl. Things gradually calmed down as the doctor checked them. Offender ran down the hall to ensure the nursery was prepared to welcome his baby boy and baby girl. He came back with cool water bottles for Reaper to rehydrate herself. He held his adorable newborns while she drank and rested. To be safe, their doctor asked to stay the night in case something happened. Both parents agreed and directed her to the closet room in the guest wing. She double-checked everything and made herself comfortable with a quick bite. Offender and Reaper named their twins Sophia and Searian. Naturally exhausted after such an ordeal, she soon went back to sleep. He stayed up next to her with their babies in his arms. Most of the crying had finally settled down, and they were fast asleep. He smiled, seeing his son and daughter. It felt so unreal. He couldn't believe he was finally a father. But there they were, sleeping in his arms. Now, he had everything he wanted in life. Offender felt more than complete. He smiled at the small babies. He had taken the lives of so many in more ways than one. But now, he knew what creating and giving life was like.
