I wake up with the exciting feeling that there are 5 days until Christmas. I open the curtains in my dorm to let the sun rays shine through my window. I touch the window glass to get a cold feeling that comes from outside. Getting deeper into winter means the temperature lowering.
I get a text from my girlfriend Jennie. 'Wanna go watch a movie?' She texted. 'Sure' I reply. 'I'll pick you up at 19:00' she texted.
I went to the kitchen and made waffles for breakfast. I added some cinnamon flavor to them. Then I added some strawberries on top to give it an extra flavor. I eat and wash the dishes before going to my room.
I need to organize and clean my room, so I decide to do it today. I put soft music on and start cleaning up.
Between the things I'm cleaning, I find a picture of Jennie and me. We took the picture on a carnival that we went together. Such a good memory.
As I finish organizing, it's around 13:00. My mom brings me lunch. Some spaghetti that she made.
I sit down on my desk and eat. It tastes amazing, as always. I finish eating, take the dishes to the kitchen and washed them.
Then I went to take a shower. When I got out, I went to my closet looking for what to wear. I don't what to wear. I spend about 1 1/2 hours looking for what to wear. When I choose what to wear, it was 16:30.
I decided to go the living room and wait for Jennie to come pick me up.
Eventually he time came and she texted me. I went out the door and got on her car.
"As pretty as always," Jennie said as she looked at me.
"And you as shinning as always," I said as I looked at her.
She drove to the nearest cinema. We both got off and went inside. Jennie let me chose the movie to watch. I choose a horror one, which now I regret my decision.
She bought the movie tickets and I bought the popcorn. We went inside the room where the movie is going to be displayed and took a sit. Shortly after, the movie started.
I would cover my face almost every time a scary scene came. Which was basically the whole movie. Jennie just laugh and hugged me. The movie finished and we went out.
"That was scary," I said as we walked to the car.
"Yes, I could see it based on your reaction," Jennie said as we entered the car, "and you were the one that choose it."
"Shut up," I said as she smile. She drove all the way to my home. I age her hug before getting off the car.
As I got out of the car, she said,
"Remember, 5 days to let go."How weird, I thought. But I didn't took much importance to it. I waved to her as she left.
