This wasn't originally a thing but @xExelx requested it so uh xD here ya go.
Sarada walked back to her house with a dazed expression on her face. She giggled to herself.
"...just like a drama. Sarada, are you listening?"
"Oh. Yeah."
Cho-Cho folded her arms and pouted, a bemused look on her face. "Then what did I just say?"
"...Something about a drama?"
"Sheesh, how hard did you fall for him? Completely zoning off while I'm talking..." She put her hands on her hips, leaning forward to look directly into Sarada's eyes. "You're going to tell me all about this," she said, pointing a chubby finger into her face, "and more!"
"I get it, I get it," she laughed, putting her hands up to ward off Cho-Cho's incessant detective aura. "Ah, we're at my house. Wait here, I'll be right back."
"Any more than 10 minutes and I'm coming inside!"
"I'll be done in seven!"
Sarada slipped off her shoes. As embarrassing as it was... She was a little bit excited. To have this type of... girls talk... with someone. Cho-Cho would tease her for it, but she'd been holding everything in the entire time.
She smiled again, running up the stairs. Holding her finger to her lips only to open her eyes again to a rush of adrenaline.
"Ah, Sarada?"
"Mama!" She peeked around the corner. "Is it ok if I spend the night at Cho-Cho's?"
Her mother gave her a knowing smile. "Have fun. Should I give you any snacks?"
"We're going to buy them on the way to her house!"
"I'll leave money on the counter."
"Thanks mama!"
She dashed into her room and threw a spare set of the same clothes she always wore into a bag along with a hairbrush, tooth paste, and PJs. And then she flopped face first into the bed.
You must be tired from running through my mind all night.
She kicked her feet. Heat rushed into her face. "Idiot." The word was muffled by her sheets.
And as she flipped onto her back, a hazy grin spread across her face.
What even was all of that... Stupid Boruto.
Kicking her feet up, she eyed her new perfume on her shelf. He wasn't the only one who upgraded scents. She threw it in the bag. Just in case.
One more memory of falling asleep in his arms later, Sarada slapped her face twice. Come on. You gotta get going or Cho-Cho is gonna kill you. Don't smile. Don't smile. Don't smile.
She said, as she smiled the entire way down the stairs.
As embarrassing as it was, there was something freeing about holding his hand in public. Being able to ruffle his hair and kiss him awake in front of Cho-Cho. Having him hug her in front of Mitsuki and Kawaki.
Everyone's reactions made her want to melt into a puddle, but just knowing that despite all that, he still wanted her... And not anyone else. It made her giddy beyond belief the moment she was out of his calming presence. It made her want to rush back into his arms and snuggle into his chest.
She hated herself.
And was over the moon with happiness at the same time.
But as an Uchiha, she couldn't show it. Pausing on the last stair and forcing a complacent look onto her face, she took the money off of the counter. "See you later, mama!"
