ANIDITA'S WEDDING

The marriage day:

The day had came, where the two hearts are going to unite. They are going to start a new life.

Anidita didn't slept well last night as they are waiting for this day, they were waiting for all the night to sun rise. All were working sincerely for their marriage.

Kaka woke up and gets ready and came outside to check if the works were done.

Binoy, somtuk were also decorated the house. The haveli was decorated grandly with lights, flowers and g arland. But their marriage is not gonna happen in the haveli.

At the backside of the haveli, there is a big terrace, which was decorated with garland. They created a mandap which was decorated with flowers and greenery to fabric and crystals. In the center of the mandap, a fire is kindled, To signify the viability of the ceremony, fire is kept as a witness.

Here Anirudh gets ready with full of enjoyment and happiness in his face.

He was wearing a beautiful groom dress, he looks like heartrob.

"Somtuk, Arya, saurabh go and call Anirudh downstairs" Kaka said as they planned a chariot for the groom's entry. Chariot was standing outside. 

Anirudh came and sit on the chariot and went to the terrace royally. Then, after he reached the terrace, he gets down from the chariot and walking on the path, which was decorated with flowers.

He is presented with a plate carrying a lit lamp (or arati). He namaskar the audiences. He was seated on the mandap and waiting for bondita.

And the bride came, bondita was wearing a pastel orange lehanga. She was looking breathtaking.

She was walking on the path of flowers with bridesmaid.

As Anirudh saw her, he was mesmerized by her beauty, he was looking at her like she was a fairy, he was bit emotional seeing her.

As she came to the mandap. She namaskar the audiences and seated near Anirudh.

"You look beautiful bondita" he whispered to her ears.

She blushed and said,

"You too, my prince" she said.

They both were exchanged the jai mala(garland) with strings of beautiful flowers.

After that, they both were saying mantras offers the rice to the fire. This offering is known as a homam. 

After saying homam, Anirudh was given a mangalsutra (auspicious thread) to tie on her neck. He took that and tied to bondita's neck. A drop of tears were coming from her eyes looking at his eyes. Anirudh became emotional, looking directly into her eyes. All their family members became emotional seeing the newly wed.

After that, Anirudh and bondita's garments were tied together as they make seven circles around a ceremonial fire, each round signifying a specific blessing they request from the gods. The main significance of the saptapadi is establishing love.

After they finished their revolving, Anirudh  placed Sindoor, on her hair, symbolizing her new status as a married woman.

After finishing the rituals, Anidita gets blessings from the elders.

"God bless you both, you both want to live a long life with your same love, happiness and care." Kaka blessed them emotionally.

Then they took blessings from binoy. Then they went to bondita's parents to get blessings.

"God bless you both" her parents blessed them.

"Congratulations bondita" sampoorna and saurabh wished them.

"Thank you didi" bondita said and hugged her.

"Congrats bondu" Arya and ananya wished them.

Then Meera also came there and wished them.

Then all were went to the haveli.

In haveli:

Koyli and bihari welcomed them with aarti. Then Bondita was asked to first push a jar/kalash filled with rice with her right toe to make her entry into the house. This ceremony signifies that the family of groom has not only welcomed the bride into their house but has also accepted her as one of the integral members of their family.  

Along with this, a plate filled with vermillion water is kept. Then bondita walks into the house after placing her feet into vermillion water, leaving her footprints, symbolizing the blessed arrival of a goddess.

Then she entered into the haveli with tears in her eyes.

After finishing the rituals, they planned a ceremony of finding the rings. A large dish filled with milk, vermillion, and flower petals with a ring of a few betel nuts placed between them . They has to search for the ring four times to find it. The one who finds it the most often is often regarded as the ruler of the household.

Anidita kept their hands inside the milk and searching for the rings, after some time Anirudh finds the ring but he didn't take out and giving to bondita. Bondita was shocked and gesturing him to say, that he finds it, but he give it to her. Then bondita takes out the ring and shows to them. Anirudh was seeing her smile and chuckled. 

"Anirudh, from today onwards you want to listen to your wife's words" Arya teased him.

They both chuckled.

After finishing all the ceremonies, somtuk and Arya went to their room and decorated the beds with red roses in the bed as in heart shape. The room was lit by candles with fragrance. It was so intoxicating. Anidita were downstairs and talking with bondita's parents bidding goodbye to them.

"Beta, you are going to start a new life, so be happy always like this, I love you beta" her dad's said.

"Thank you pa, I miss you" she said with tears.

"Bondita, be good and congratulations to you beta" her mom wished her and hugged her.

Ananya and Arya also wished them to start a new life.

Meera also wished them.

After some time, the relatives and friends are left for their homes. After that, 

"Boudi, you both go fast, otherwise dada will be angry" batuk teased him.

Anirudh stared him and bondita chuckled.

After that Anirudh went to his room and bondita changed her lehanga into simple Georgette saree. She was taking milk to his room. Anirudh was waiting for her.
