"It's the friends you make, it's the road you choose."
Pokémon Battle Frontier OP
Seeing the burning building in front of him, as mass panic overtook the vicinity, Inky couldn't help but just be apathetic to it all.
He didn't care for the lives that were affected. Nor did he care for whatever the hell was going on in terms of repairing damages to an already lost cause. Why?
He was pissed. Even now, he can see the blue eyes of Dabi linger on him. Dabi had also gone quite the distance since the fire began. And although Inky wanted to immediately go right after the man and use whatever skills he has trained up to beat the man black and blue, he knows all it'll do is cause a ruckus.
So he stayed, overlooking the incident, and in particular, (Y/N) (L/N), who was busy helping those Pokémon, the Pokémon kidnapped by Team Rocket. Helping them to stand on their feet and finding children to fathers, whilst those which were too weak or had nowhere to go, she placed in Pokeballs, likely to bring them to her own base.
But what caught his eye was the Shaymin. The Shaymin that snuggled into (Y/N) as comfortably at it could, seeking warmth in a cold place.
Why does Team Rocket have a Shaymin?
Ugh... What a headache. He'll leave the more brainy stuff to Charalin. They know and analyse this stuff a lot more efficiently than he does, despite their childish nature and their tendency to just annoy him.
And... maybe he'll apologise for the Pokeballs as well.
"And that's the story." You summarized for a pale Sapphire, who smiled, letting out a chuckle. She raised a hand to her mouth, covering the evident smile on her face.
It was the evening when you as well as the other heroes had returned to Cemiya's organisation. You felt tired, but a little satisfied in busting down one of Team Rocket's cause of funds. The teams ability to traffic Pokémon, however, scares you.
