Start of the Plan

**VICTORIA'S POV**
"So? How do I look?" I asked nervously, fiddling with the hem of my dress. Since when did Victoria White get nervous?

Since Evan Young. My subconscious reminded me.

"You look okay. Now let's go." Evan said blankly as he pushed me into his car. I settled myself in the car, slightly annoyed at his blank reply.

"Where are we going?"

Evan laughed. "Impatient, huh? Just wait."

I rolled my eyes.

A few minutes later, Evan pulled his car into an expensive restaurant's parking lot.

Woah, really?

"Yes, really." Evan replied, as if he was reading my thoughts. How did he-

He smirked and grabbed my arm. "Come on."

I just followed him silently into the restaurant and sat down at our table, studying the menu.

"Waiter?"

"Yes sir?"

"Steak for me, please. As for this lady..." Evan eyed me.

"Uh I'll just have fish and chips."

The waiter nodded and smiled before walking away with our orders.

"What made you suddenly bring me here for dinner?" I inquired.

As Evan was about to reply, the waiter came back with our food. He sure was fast!

"Here's your steak and your fish and chips. Enjoy!"

Evan smiled politely at the waiter before digging into his steak.

"Well?" I asked again in an annoyed tone, tapping my foot.

Evan wiped his mouth with his serviette before grinning.

That's when the real surprise came in.

"I, Evan Young, would like you, Victoria White, to be my girlfriend." Evan announced with a flourish.

"I-I-"

"Say yes! Say yes! Say yes!" Two kids sitting at the table beside us began clapping and cheering me on.

To my surprise, instead of shutting them up, their parents joined in.

"Say yes! Say yes!"

Others started slowly joining in.

I looked back at Evan. He was grinning.

"Um..."

A hush immediately fell over the entire restaurant.

"Yes?" I said in an unsure voice.

Well, why not? Evan WAS cute. It wouldn't hurt to give him a try since he seemed pretty desperate, bringing me to such an expensive restaurant and all.

Evan just smirked and leaned back on his chair.

Meanwhile, I might as well take this chance to dig out Evan Young's secret.
