its been a over month since i last updated..but here i am!! ive been actually thinking of more ideas for other books im writing so expect chapters to be updated late😭

PRESENT

Hyunjin has skipped a few days of school before, but now? You would have never expected that. You sighed as you pulled out your phone from your backpack, completely forgetting he slapped you the other day.

Hyunjin

Are you coming to school today?

He probably wasn't going to come, but you thought it would be good to at least try to contact him.

HYUNJINS POV

I was talking to Hyejin, when someone started calling me. I reached for my phone to see who it was. The name read, "Y/n". I hesitated for a moment. I still remembered what happened the other day. I'm still not sure why I did that, but I'm not guilty. "Is everything alright?" Hyejin asks. "Oh yeah, uh, I need to answer this call really quick, do you mind if I leave for a moment?' I ask. "Oh yeah, sure! No problem, go ahead. You don't have to ask." She says, smiling.

I smile back as I get up to leave the room. I answer the call as I'm walking.

Y/NS POV

HYUNJIN

Hey, are you going to be at school today?

Why do you care.

I'm just asking, if not, just say no and hang up.

Okay, well no.

This number has ended the call.

You sighed as you put your phone back in your backpack. You shrugged the feeling off. He was right. Why did you care if he was at school or not? 

Just as you were about to head to class, you turned around to see Seungcheol. You were stunned by his appearance all of a sudden. "Oh, uh. hi! I was just about to head to class." you say, letting out an awkward laugh at the end. 

"Oh, me too," he says. "I think we have the same class, wanna go together? Also, sorry if I scared you, I was just trying to check up on you." he says, laughing.

You smiled at him. He was a sweet and kind person, who wouldn't like him? You. He wasn't your type, but, he was indeed good looking. He was almost every girls ideal type. Good grades, talented, good looking, he was literally perfect. 

You nod your head in response as you two walk to class, all eyes on you guys. While you guys were walking, you looked to his side, just to see two girls gossiping with each other. You overheard their conversation.

"Who's that?" girl number one says, making sure to emphasize the 'that' to make it sound more disgusted. "I don't know. She's probably new. But don't worry, Seungcheol likes you for sure. Haven't you seen him? He literally," and then the rest was a blur.

You've never seen that girl ever at the school. She was pretty though, but you shouldn't be thinking about that. She was just shit talking about you, at least you think she was. You stopped walking for a second. Seungcheol looked behind his shoulder when he noticed you weren't by his side anymore.
