Chapter 3

You closed the door and your phone rang immediately. You picked it up and saw the number of your best friend. "Hello? Is everything?" you ask because you rarely call each other. "Y/n, are you really in a relationship with Hyunjin? I thought you guys hated each other." 

You sighed. "It's a very long story, I'll explain everything tomorrow, okay? "I'm so happy for you! See, I told you that someone liked you!" You laughed.

"Thanks..but how did you know we were together?" "Everyone at school talks about it!" "Wait, what?" You quickly went up to your room and closed the door.

"What do you mean people at school are talking about our relationship? You're kidding, right?" you asked. "No, I'm not! Right now it's just a rumor, but I'm the only one who knows it's true." "All right please don't tell anyone about this.." 

"No worries Y/n. I'm your best friend anyway." "Thanks, take care of yourself. I'm going to sleep because I'm exhausted..." "See you tomorrow! Good night Y/n!"

You sigh as you slump on your bed thinking about what just happened. You felt bad for lying to her, but you were so confused about the dating rumor. Are you guys popular at school now? You sighed, you never really liked Hyunjin since he was your bully, but it felt different now when you were around him.

You decided to shrug it off and you went to bed.

The next day, you walked out of your house to go yo school when you saw Hyunjin waiting for you. "What are you doing here?" "I came to pick up my girlfriend so we can go to school together." he replied.

"Sorry, I always forget this detail...also, can you not call me your girlfriend, this is all fake." He laughs at your words. "Oh well, whatever." You guys walked to the high school while discussing about what your best friend had told you yesterday.

"I didn't know we were so popular..." he muttered. You smiled as you walked into the building. "I have a friend to see, I'll be right back" You nodded as he left.

As for you, you were about to get some things from your locker when someone closed it. You raised your eyebrow when you saw one of your old friends. "Hello Y/n." "Hey! What's up!" "I just wanted to give you a little present." He handed you a bouquet of flowers and smiled.

"Happy belated Valentine's Day!" "Aw! Thank you so much!" You smiled at him as he smiled back. You were about to say something else when you felt a hand around your waist. You turned around and saw Hyunjin.

"What are you doing? Don't you know she already has a boyfriend?" "It's just flowers." said the boy. "Just flowers?" Hyunjin started to laugh.

"Choose your gift carefully next time. She prefers teddy bears." he replied as he took your hand and dragged you into an empty hallway.
