"Elli!! Get up it's time for school!" her mother called.
Today was Ella's first day at her new high school in Boston Massachusetts. Her and her mother had moved there after her father had ended things with her mother. This was hard for Ella because she really didn't want to move schools. She had all of her friends in her old school, but now it's time for new beginnings.
Her mom drove her to school since it was on the way to her mom's new job. She was dropped off and greeted with tons of teenagers yelling and running to their lockers.
She really didn't know where to go, or how to get to her locker so she asked a girl that looked about her age.
"Hi, uh I'm new and I don't really know how to get to my locker." Said Ella awkwardly staring at the teenage girl in front of her.
"Hi!! I'm Alahna, I can help you if you'd like!"
"That would be great!" Ella was happy she had found someone that didn't look like they'd eat her alive.
Alahna showed Ella to her locker
"Hey Ella, do you want to be friends?"
"Sure that would be great!" Ella was happy she had made a friend even tho summer break was in a week.
Time skip to the last week of school
"So what are you doing for summer?" Ella asked Alahna
"I don't really know, I think my mom want to send me to a camp but who knows."
"Sounds cool, I don't know either to be honest"
Ella and Alahna had to part ways so they could get to their first class on time and not be late again.
Time skip to Friday
"Alahna it's our last period until summer officially starts. Oh my goodness." Ella said with a happy expression on her face.
"I'm so excited!! I hope we can hang out during the summer though."
"Me too!!" Ella had said as the bell rang and school was officially over and it was time for summer vacation.
