The next few weeks at camp were weird for the group, with Chris always being at the mystery girls cabin and Matt and Hailey growing closer it would usually leave Ella, Nick, and Alahna always hanging out. Ella wasnt sad at the fact her, Nick, and Alahna were getting closer, she was sad her and Chris weren't.
"guys are we still going to dinner tonight?" Ella asks even with Chris not being there. Everyone nodded in agreement that they were going.
"Ill go and ask Chris." Nick says. Nobody protested because they knew if anyone could get Chris to do something it was Nick. While Nick went to go get Chris everyone got dressed and the girls did their makeup and hair together. Not long after the girls were done Nick came back with Chris trailing behind him. Ella sighed in relief after not seeing the mystery girl trailing behind Chris acting like a lost puppy.
"You guys look gorgeous!!" Nick said looking at the girls.
"Thank you kind sir!" Alahna replied. Ella couldn't help but notice Chris staring at her.
"Chris are you going to go looking like that?" Ella says trying to break the awkward silence.
"Of course not I was just wondering when you would say something." Chris says passing by Ella with clothes in hand. Everyone couldnt help being bored out of their mind, I mean Chris was almost taking longer than the girls. In the time it took Chris to get ready Ella had fallen asleep on Haileys shoulder, but next thing she knows she waking up to Chris tapping on her shoulder.
"Lets go sunshine." Chris said standing over her.
Ellas thoughts
Why is Chris calling me sunshine?!? I mean just a few hours ago he was probably telling some other girl how much he loved her, and now hes calling me sunshine!!
Regular pov
Hailey was already up and walking out the door, so Ella and Chris walked out together. They got in the car sitting in the same way they always do, Nick and Alahna in the very back, Chris and Ella in the middle, and Hailey and Matt in the front. Once they got there Matt had already gotten a table in advance. They sat at a seven person table, Hailey and Matt sitting next to each others, while Ella was next to Hailey, Chris next to Ella, and lastly Nick and Alahna next to Matt. They all knew what they wanted pretty quickly so it didnt take long for food to come out. While they were waiting for food Ella and Hailey went to the bathroom.
In the bathroom
"Ley im so confused whats going on with Chris, because one day we are like attached at the hip and the next hes talking to someone else!?" Ella says to Hailey.
"Omg I noticed that! Chris has been with this mystery girl a ton recently, I mean none of us have even met her!! What if shes not even real!?" Ella and Hailey leave the bathroom before people get suspicious and worried.
back at the table
When they got back they saw their food was already there so Hailey and Ella say down and everyone enjoyed their food. ————————————————————————
