While driving, the music that was playing stopped to give you an important piece of information, "I-28 will be closed due to flooding and extreme weather until further notice" Noah cursed something under his breath as the message repeated and pulled into a nearby parking lot so yall could evaluate the situation.

You soon found out that all the other roads you could take back to the place you were staying were either closed or too dangerous to drive on and closing soon. The parking lot you pulled into was near a hotel, but it looked pretty crowded. As lightning struck, you decided it was your best option. He pulled around to the hotel's parking lot and looked for a parking spot. You all went through a few rows without finding one, but eventually, you saw one. It was pretty far from the entrance, but you didn't really have much to carry with you, so you expected it to be ok.

Noah got out of the car but told you to stay for a minute. He came to your side of the car and opened the door for you so you could get out and huddle with him under his jacket. You all ran as fast as you could to the hotel entrance, laughing and screaming the whole way as you stumbled on top of each other. As you got to the door, you went up to the front desk and tried to get a room. "Well, as you probably saw from our parking situation, we don't have many rooms. Let me check... ... oh! We have one room that's just been cleaned. Here are the keys, have a nice night!" The receptionist said quickly, trying to get to the next person.

You didn't really know what to expect from the room since you had been assigned to it so quickly, but you hoped for the best. In the elevator, you started shivering because of how cold you were from the rain. "Gosh Bel, it's not that cold," Noah said jokingly with a smirk. He pulled you closer to his warm body as he sighed. When you heard the elevator ding, you both ran to your room to wrap yourselves in warm blankets.
