You tried to take a step backward, forgetting he was holding you so close. He groaned quietly and pushed you away from his body quickly. You turned around, and he moved one hand to your neck (GENTLY HE'S NOT CHOKING YOU), preventing you from looking down as you held eye contact. You had no idea what was going on, and your eyes started to tear up because you had IMMEDIATELY started overthinking and had become.. scared?

"Hey hey hey," he said gently, "it's ok, it's ok," he pulled you to his side and kind of side hugged you as he kissed your nose. You pulled away from his reach and walked quickly to the bathroom, trying to collect your thoughts and figure out what had just happened.

When you came out of the bathroom, Noah face was red like he had just run a mile. He was lying on the couch with a blanket over his legs, which were open and his feet were resting on the small table in front of him. You walked over to him slowly and crawled in between his legs so you were kind of on top of him with your hands on the sides of his face as he let out a small breath. "d'you wanna cuddle?" he whispers into your ear. You nod and start to get up to move to the bed, but he picks you up with ease, and carries you there, setting you on the bed under him and kissing your neck.

You see your purse on the bedside table and remember the necklace you're wearing. You always have trouble taking jewelry off after you get your nails done, but you try anyway. Noah notices and walks over to help you. After he takes the necklace from around your neck, he puts it on the bedside table, causing his arms to go over your shoulders and you to be pushed into him again. You wrap your arms around his shoulders, pulling him back to the bed, and you feel yourself drifting off to sleep with the help of the sound of his heart beating.
