Chapter Sixty Four

*Axel*

I stared at my birth father and Tristan.

He had joined my dad in the ambulance looking at and adoring my little sister, while the two of them talked and shared pregnancy stories as the paramedic checks me over. I stated that I was fine, but dad wasn't hearing any of it and refused to leave to the hospital unless I complied. Now that he was completely free from Han's clutches and could openly be himself, he wasn't holding back.

He was a lot more stubborn and demanding than I remember him being over the years. The fact that he was smiling and not hiding anything was everything. I hiss loudly when the paramedic pressed a little to hard against my ribs.

Both male Omegas snapped their attention to look at me with identical frowns of worry. Damn it. I had hoped to show them I was perfectly okay. But the probing was completely unexpected since I was too enamored by the three of them.

"Looks like you have a few broken ribs here." The man stated a little too loud.

I give him the dirtiest look I possibly could give and if he hadn't been a Beta, I'd throw him under the pressure of my Alpha pheromones.

"Broken ribs?" Tristan's voice was a little high pitched with panic.

Something I was trying to avoid with this situation. He had already been through enough. The ordeal of the last couple of days was enough to last us both a lifetime. He was instantly by my side, his eyes showing fear for my wellbeing.

"It's alright. It's nothing I can't handle. I'm an Alpha, I'll heal quickly." I reassuringly say to him.

"What a load of bullshit, Axel." My dad snaps angrily. "You're going to the hospital and getting properly treated." His tone bore no arguments and all I could do was sigh heavily in defeat.

"Besides, Tristan needs to go anyways to check on that baby of yours. I want to make sure my grandchild is healthy and unharmed."

Now I really couldn't argue with that one. I wanted to be sure myself.

"We need to get going now." Another paramedic states as she comes around the vehicle. "I can only allow one other person to ride in with the mother."

I carefully stand back up and start to say, "Thomas should ride with you-"

"Tristan!"

We all turn at the frantic voice to find Cameron pushing his way through bodyguards and police to get to his best friend. Followed closely by Sia and an older gentlemen I've never seen before.

"Cam." Tristan gets out right before he was slammed into a tight hug from the other Omega.

"Oh my God! I was so worried!" His tone was on the verge of tears.

Sia comes rushing up, taking Cameron out of his arms and crushes him into his own. "You scared the shit out of me!" His voice didn't sound any better.

Some of the bodyguards looked ready to toss them out but I raise my hand indicating to leave them be.

"Wait, how did you guys find out where I was?" Tristan asks as he pulls away from his cousin and hugs the older man, who responds to his question.

"As soon as I found out it was Sean who had taken you from your home, I immediately went straight to his house and not so gently forced it out of him on what he had done to you. Sia on the other hand..." He lets the sentence hang as he looks at the guy and it hits me on who this person was.
