WHEN nikki first began training with nct in 2017, mark was one of the people who helped her become comfortable with the group. as nikki was struggling with korean at the time, mark would often stick to her and help with translations. for a while nikki got a lot of hate because they saw her as mark's replacement within dream, and that made him more determined to show people that they were close. a lot of the time people call them dumb and dumber because they have a tendency to have no idea whats going on, so they're usually sat to the side trying to make sense of what's going, and then laughing at how stupid the other looks
nikki: Wow, did you hear that voice crack? mark: That wasn't a voice crack, that was a whole voice meth.
