Min Gi looks around the room at the crowd. Suddenly he sees a girl walk up to the stage.
"Hey there, nice to meet you. I'm Min Gi, but Ryan just calls me Min— Oh! Um, Ryan is my best friend and bandmate, we have this band called Chicken Choice Judy, CCJ for short, I play the synth for the band. Sorry for rambling, what's your name?" He says, curious about this new person. She looks up at him and smiles. "Oh, my name's Chelsea. I was just wondering if you had any Cassettes of your new album? I really like your band's music so far and I've been to like 3 of your shows already, but I was too shy to ask earlier." Replied the Concertgoer.
"Hey Chelsea, nice to meet you! Sure, I got a whole stash of 'em in my bag! I'm just glad someone appreciates our music. I know our band seems a bit different from what people usually listen to, but it's our truth. Thanks for being a fan!" Min Gi replies, as he turns and walks over to his bag. He rummages through it and pulls out a cassette. Chelsea hands Min Gi the money for the cassette. "Thank you so much! It means a lot to me that there are people who share our passion for music. CCJ will definitely have more music coming soon, so stay tuned! Here's your cassette by the way, I hope you enjoy it." Min Gi exclaims, and hands her the cassette.
"Thanks! Have a good night." Chelsea replies taking the cassette and disappearing into the crowd. "Thank you, Chelsea! You have a good night too!" Min Gi replies, as he waves good-bye and turns back to the stage. "You making new friends, Min? Good for you. Maybe you'll find yourself a girlfriend too." Ryan joked, nudging Min Gi with his elbow. Min Gi laughs. "I don't need a girlfriend right now, Ryan. I'm too obsessed with my music. Besides, I'd rather find the right one than settle for someone just to say I'm not alone. What about you? Any girls you're interested in?" Min Gi asked, Raising an eyebrow.
"Nah, not at the moment. I think I need to take a break before I get another girlfriend. The last few barely lasted a year." Ryan replied, Sighing. Min Gi leaned back against the wall. "I get it. Relationships are messy, it can get really tiring. It's hard to know sometimes how much of yourself to give to another person that you might just lose. Plus, it's so hard to find someone who shares your values, I don't want to compromise what I believe in just to be with someone, I want to know I'm with the right person, you know?" Min Gi said, looking at Ryan. Ryan stared back with a shine in his eyes. "Well at least we know we can give more of ourselves to each other, since we share the same dream, right? At least we know...that right now... we have each other, and for the time being, that's enough." Ryan said, grabbing Min Gi's hand.
Min Gi smiles at Ryan. "Exactly, Ryan. We're always there for each other, in good and bad times. And I love that I can say that, not many people have this kind of bond. To have that bond with someone, to know they're always by your side, no one else can compare. I'm so happy I have you in my life, Ryan. I couldn't go on without you." Min Gi replied, genuinely happy that he was with Ryan again. Ryan squealed quietly and waved his hand at his face. "Oh my god you're gonna make me cry man! I'm so happy we're friends again. I still can't believe that we're actually doing shows together as the band we made when we were little kids! It's honestly so fun doing this with you." Ryan exclaimed.
Min Gi hugs Ryan and starts tearing up. "It's amazing, it really is. We've come so far in just a short amount of time. I can't wait to see what the future holds for us and CCJ. Even if, worst case scenario, we somehow fail, I know I wouldn't be able to make it through alone. I'm so glad our dreams led us to the same place. I'm happy to be doing this alongside my best friend." Min Gi told Ryan. Min Gi noticed that it was a little awkward to suddenly hug Ryan, so he stopped and let him go. "Sorry, I guess I got a little carried away.." Min Gi said, a little embarrassed because he wasn't used to being this affectionate and he was honestly surprised by himself. Ryan chuckles and goes back into the greenroom behind the stage. Min Gi follows behind him.
