Danny strutted towards the tracks.
He saw a familiar figure sitting there.
As he got closer Lacey looked up and immediately looked back down.
"Hey" said Danny.
"Hi" Lacey said averting eye contact.
Danny was concerned, he laid his hand on her thigh asking if he was feeling alright .
At his touch, Lacey immediately froze.
"I'm okay, could be better..." she responded still not making eye contact.
Danny sighed, pressing his warm hand against Lacey's face.
"This isn't like you" he said.
"Well...."
Danny cupped his hands under her chin and stared into her dark chocolate eyes.
"Are you okay?"
"For now."
