me & donte texted for a while and honestly i couldn't stop myself from smiling so hard, part of me felt bad because out of every girl that wanted him in the school he chose me.
* Homecoming week *
i dressed up with my best friend jaeda the entire week.
" you wanna take pictures today ? " she texted.
i replied and started throwing us an outfit together, we waited for eachother at the door and went into our class, around lunch time she asked me about my love life
" mm it's going i guess i have a crush on somebody tho " i said with a small smile
" you too damn old to be having a crush, but who ? " she asked curiously
i pointed at donte who was sitting at the next table infront of us
she rolled her eyes before side eyeing mean

i shut my phone off and ate my breakfast while listening to music
donte walked in with his normal RBF going into the line to get his food, he sat a few tables down from me . every chance i got to look at him he was already staring at me which made me so nervous.
breakfast was well over and the cafe was empty, i saw him get up to throw his food away and distracted myself in my phone, he came and sat at the table i was at.
" why you not in class ? " he asked staring into my soul.
" i'm eating " i replied
usually donte goes down a hall when he leave the cafe but today he followed behind me, i continued to walk to get a tardy pass.
we ended up departing when i went to my class.
the next few days me and donte had been walking eachother to class and texting all day long ..
" tae why you so happy " natalie said making me and heavyn laugh
i told her about the lil moment me and donte had in the hallways and she asked more about us, there were time we would argue over little stuff but we got over it.
the bell rang and i went down the 100 hall to go to theatre, donte met me halfway and we held hands until we got there
" why you looking at me like that ? " i asked
he looked his lips before asking " like what ? "
