He knew that winning Ryeon's heart back wouldn't be easy, but he was ready to do whatever it took. Even if he needed to go back to square 1.

As she approached her desk, her heart skipped a beat. There it was, another breathtaking bouquet of flowers, just as exquisite as the previous ones. With trembling hands, she picked up the bouquet and read the attached note: 'I know I've made mistakes, but I'm willing to do whatever it takes to make things right.' His messages were always straight to the point yet, sincere, expressing his regret and longing for a second chance.

A soft smile played on her lips as she held the note close to her heart. "Five flowers again. Just like before." The gifts were always left anonymous but Ryeon already knew who it was from. She had felt it in her heart all along.

Ryeon's co-workers, who had been intrigued by the daily deliveries, couldn't help but exchange knowing glances as they witnessed her reaction. They had all become part of this unfolding love story, albeit from the sidelines.

With each passing day, thoughts of Joong-Gil and their past occupied her mind making it hard for her to concentrate on her work. She knew that she needed to give this a chance, not just for herself but especially for Minji. Their daughter deserves a complete family. Her heart ached with mixed emotions. She missed Joong-Gil so much but the pain of their past still lingers.

Ryeon and Minji were strolling through the busy mall, hand in hand, enjoying their special Mama and Minji Date. The vibrant displays and smells of freshly baked goods added to their excitement as they explored the shops, trying on clothes and sharing laughter. Little did Ryeon know, Joong-Gil had been planning a surprise encounter. He wanted to join their outing and create a memorable moment as a family. He couldn't resist the opportunity to see the joy on Ryeon and Minji's faces.

While Ryeon and Minji were browsing through a jewelry store, Joong-Gil snuck up behind them and exclaimed dramatically, "Well, well, well, what do we have here? I was just passing by when I heard a loud noise. Seems like a Mother and Daughter date in progress!" Ryeon was suspicious to see Joong-Gil there "Just passing by..." her voice is barely inaudible. Minji caught on to his mischievous plan, giggling and running into his open arms. "Papa, you planned this, didn't you?" she exclaimed, her eyes sparkling with joy.

Joong-Gil chuckled and hugged Minji tightly. "Well, maybe I did," he admitted playfully. "I couldn't resist joining my girls on their special day." Ryeon couldn't help but smile at Joong-Gil's efforts to create a memorable surprise.

"Well, since you're here already you can join us. You could buy us lunch and carry our shopping bags." Ryeon said. She felt a mix of emotions as she saw the love he had for their daughter and his determination to rebuild their family.

"Okay!" Joong-Gil exclaimed and looked down at Minji's "Pick whatever you want. Papa will buy it all." Minji was delighted with what her papa said and rushed to the toy store in a jiffy.

"You're spoiling her." Ryeon retorted, earning a chuckle from Joong-Gil. "I already saw this coming."

"Are the police still patrolling around your area?"

"Yup. There's even a prosecutor guarding our house whenever the guards changes."

"You noticed?" He was taken aback that his undercover mission was discovered. "Well, thank you for this." Joong-Gil said as he walked beside Ryeon.

"For what?"

"For giving me Minji and letting me be part of her life."

Ryeon smiled in response. "You're her father and it's not something I want to deprive her of. And thank you also."
