We walked through the park and before we knew it, it was dark outside and it was getting cold. I shivered and Brandon gave me his jacket and pulled me against him. We walked to the Ferris Wheel and waited in line. Tonight was perfect. It couldn't get better than this. Finally it was our turn to get on the ride. The guy got a few other couples in their seats before us. We sat down and the guy made sure our safety bar was working properly then started the ride. "Ronnie," Brandon said turning towards me. I looked at him and asked "You okay?" He nodded and stared deeply into my eyes. "It's just I like you a lot, Ronnie. You're amazing, sweet, gentle, caring, loving, pretty, worth everything, and a damn good big sister. There's nothing unlikeable about you," he blabbered. I was shocked but he was opening up to me. I wanted that. We were close to the top when he turned towards me more. When we got to the top, he cupped my face in his large, warm gentle hands and kissed me softly and passionately. I knew then that I wasn't broken anymore.
