Ronnie woke up to a text on her phone. She didn't even have to check the caller ID to know who the text was from. There was only one boy who could've possibly texted these words to her. And that was Nathaniel Archibald. Meet me at Chuck's in an hour. We need to talk. Ronnie rolled her eyes at his bluntness, although he had a full reasoning to be mad at her, Ronnie still thought it was pathetic.

Sure. Ronnie texted back, she wasn't going to let him be the one who could be like that. Ronnie brushed her teeth, and get herself ready while Talulah slept. She wasn't sure if she was going to bring Talulah or not. Ronnie soon decided it'd be best to not bring Talulah this time since Nate might not want to see her. Ronnie noticed that Judith was back, she was glad. She didn't feel comfortable leaving Talulah with a maid she didn't know.

It was like leaving your daughter in the care of a stranger. "Judith! You're back. How are you?" Ronnie asked, as Judith poured her some orange juice. "I am good, thank you, miss Ronnie." Judith said, Ronnie smiled at her. "That's great. I was beginning to get worried about it." Ronnie said, "Oh, there's no need to worry, miss. I am completely fine. I just had the flu." Judith gave Ronnie a smile. Although, Ronnie could tell there was something else behind that smile.

It was fake. Ronnie didn't want to question her, because she didn't want to overthink. Maybe Judith was fine, but what if she wasn't? Ronnie brushed away the thought. "I have to go and meet Nate, would you please care for Talulah? She's still asleep, so she's fine for now." Ronnie changed the subject. "Yes, of course. Mr Nate is a wonderful young man. I haven't seen him in a while, how is Mr Nate?" Judith asked, Ronnie thought about it for a second.

"Could I tell you a secret?" Ronnie asked, Judith nodded. "Nate is Talulah's father." Ronnie said, Judith looked shocked, before a smile appeared on her face. "That is lovely. I always liked him, i'm sure he's thrilled about Talulah." Judith said, "He doesn't know. Well, he does now. That's why i'm going to meet him. To talk about Talulah." Ronnie said, Judith gave an apologetic smile. "It'll be fine, miss Ronnie. There's no need to worry." Judith said, Ronnie smiled at her. "Thank you, Judith. And, speaking of Nate, I have to go. I'll see you later." Ronnie said.

"Also, if you see mother or father, let them know i'm with Nate please." Ronnie said, Judith nodded. "Have fun, Miss Ronnie." Judith said, Ronnie smiled as she left the Gordon Palace. The Gordon's happened to own the largest house in town. "Good morning, Eddie. Could you give me a ride to the Palace please?" Ronnie asked their driver, who nodded, and opened the back seat door for Ronnie. She smiled, as sat in the back seat, thanking him as she did.

Once they got to the Palace, "Thank you, i'll let you know when i'm ready to come home. It probably won't be long." Ronnie said, got out of their car. Ronnie walked up the entrance of the Palace, she bumped into Serena on the way. "Ronnie, what are you doing here?" Serena asked as she pulled her best friend into a hug. "Hey, Serena. I'm here to see Nate, he knows about Talulah." Ronnie sighed, "Oh, god. That doesn't sound good." Serena said. "He doesn't seem too happy about it." Ronnie said, Serena gave a comforting smile.

"Well, good luck. Let me know how it goes." Serena said, Ronnie nodded. "I will." Ronnie said, Serena walked to where she was originally going before bumping into Ronnie. Ronnie went up to Chuck's room, "I hope you're both decent." Ronnie said, as she walked into Chuck's hotel room. Ronnie saw Chuck sat on his bed and Nate sat on the sofa. "Good morning, princess." Chuck gave Ronnie a smile. "Morning." Ronnie smiled back, then she was met with Nate's eyes.
Nate didn't even offer her a smile. Oh, boy. He was mad at her.

"Well, let's get this over with. Yes, the rumours are true. I, well, we have a daughter." Ronnie said, she decided it was best to just say it at once. "What we're you thinking? Why didn't you tell me?" Nate asked, "Well, for one, you were my best friends boyfriend, and for two, we were young, I didn't know what to do except run." Ronnie explained, truthfully. "Just because I was with Blair, it doesn't give you an excuse not to tell me I have a daughter, Ronnie." Nate said, Ronnie suddenly felt bad for the boy.

"Don't you understand? I have a child, and I don't even know her name, how old she is, when her birthday is, I don't even know what my own daughter looks like." Nate said, Ronnie frowned. "I'm sorry, Nate. I didn't have a choice, even if I told you or not, my parents still would've made me leave town. Either way, you wouldn't have seen her." Ronnie said, Nate's facial expression never changed. "I still would've wanted to at least know." Nate said, Ronnie knew where he was coming from, but he isn't the only one affected by this.

"Nate, don't you understand the amount of guilt that's built up inside of me? Guilt to you, to Blair, my parents. Everyone. I feel so guilty that you've missed out on important parts of her life, but I physically and emotionally couldn't have told you. I was a mess the entire pregnancy, and even the first few months of her life, because every time she did something new, the words what would Nate think if he was here? would ring through my head." Ronnie explained, Nate facial expression slowly turned into a frown.

"I wanted to tell you, Nate. So bad. The amount of times I wanted to just come to your house and tell you that you have a daughter, but I couldn't." Ronnie said, Nate didn't say anything for a while. "You don't get to act as if you're the victim here, Ronnie. It was your decision to tell me or not. And you decided not too." Nate said, got up. "I can't believe you do something this low." Nate spoke his last words to Ronnie before storming out. Ronnie broke down in tears.

She couldn't keep them in any longer, she wanted to say strong for Talulah, she didn't want Nate to know that he had won. She wanted to keep her walls up, but she couldn't. "Come here, Ron." Chuck opened his arms, Ronnie made her way to the bed where she cuddled up next to Chuck on his bed. "He'll come around, don't worry. He's just shocked and mad, it won't last forever." Chuck said, "I feel like i've failed Talulah. I've ruined her chances of ever having her father in her life. That's so selfish of me to do." Ronnie said, Chuck kissed Ronnie's forehead in a way of comfort.

"Don't be stupid, Ronnie. It's not your fault, and Nate will get over it soon and he'll want to be apart of Talulah's life." Chuck said, Ronnie sniffed, as her tears come out of her eyes. "Thank you, Chuck. I mean it, you've been a great best friend to me." Ronnie said, Chuck smiled. And they stayed like that for a while, Chuck comforting Ronnie. Ronnie was grateful she had Chuck, he was one of her favourite people.

Ronnie had got herself together, decided that she and Chuck should go out for lunch and take Talulah, since everyone knows about her now what's the need to hide her? Ronnie and Chuck headed to The Gordon Palace and Ronnie saw that Judith had gotten Talulah dressed. "Aw, she looks adorable, thank you, Judith." Ronnie said, picked up Talulah. "You're beautiful, my sweet girl." Ronnie kissed her daughter's head.

"Good afternoon, Mr Chuck, Miss Ronnie." Judith said, Ronnie smiled and so did Chuck. "I'm taking Talulah out with Chuck and I for a little while, so you can take the rest of the afternoon off until dinner." Ronnie spoke to Judith, dinner wasn't for at least another 4 or 5 hours and she knew there was nothing else to do at their home for Judith. "Thank you, Miss. I will be back to serve dinner." Judith said, Ronnie smiled at her as she walked away.

"Are you ready?" Ronnie asked Chuck, as she placed Talulah in her stroller, Chuck nodded his head. "Hello, Talulah." Chuck said to Ronnie's baby girl. Talulah giggled at him, Ronnie smiled as they left the house. They decided to walk since it wasn't too far away and they had Talulah's stroller. "Ron, if Nate doesn't step up, you know i'll always be here for you." Chuck said, Ronnie smiled gratefully at him before deciding this was the best chance to tease him. "Is THE Chuck Bass going soft?" Ronnie gasped dramatically. "Oh, shut it, Ronnie. I was just trying to be nice." Chuck said.

Ronnie laughed, as they continued walking before they found a nice restaurant to eat lunch at. "Hello, table for two." Chuck said to the guy, "Follow me." He said, we sat down at the table, the guy came back with a chair that Talulah could sit in. "Thank you." Ronnie said to the guy, who nodded before walking off. Ronnie placed Talulah in, strapped the buckle up to make sure she didn't fall out. "This place is really nice." Ronnie said, "Yeah, I guess it is." Chuck said, Ronnie rolled her eyes at how specific he was being.

Once the waiter came over, Ronnie ordered a Cola Cola to drink. Ronnie couldn't stop thinking about Nate and what happened. She felt awfully bad and guilty, she knew all of this mess was her fault. If Ronnie hadn't run away, or if she had just told Nate about Talulah in the first place, they wouldn't be in this situation right now. "Stop thinking about Nate, Ron. We're here to relax and enjoy ourselves. Not think about the past. Now, get rid of that frown on your face and smile." Chuck said, Ronnie smiled. "How did you know?" Ronnie asked, "Your facial expression tell me everything I need to know, princess." Chuck replied.

And soon enough, all her problems disappeared when she was with Chuck.
