Ronnie woke up the next morning in Chuck's hotel room at the Palace. Nothing happened between the two of them, it never would it'd be too weird. They're best friends. Ronnie looked over and frowned when she didn't see Talulah. She looked around and saw Chuck asleep on the couch with Talulah on his chest, asleep too.Ronnie looked in awe, but it soon changed when her mind wandered to Nate. She knew his reaction wouldn't be the best, but she never expected it to be that bad. Ronnie checked her phone and saw no messages or calls from Nate, she sighed and got out of bed and headed to the bathroom in Chuck's hotel room. She brushed her teeth, her hair and washed her face with water from the sink. She went back into the room, saw Chuck was now awake.
"Good morning, Charles." Ronnie joked, as she knew Chuck hated when Ronnie called him Charles. "Morning, Ronnie." Chuck said, Ronnie looked down at his chest, saw Talulah was still asleep. "You could've slept in the bed, Chuck. You didn't have to sleep on the couch. Especially with Talulah on you." Ronnie said, as she went and sat down on the couch next to Chuck.
"I didn't want to wake you. I figured you'd had a stressful enough day, you needed to rest." Chuck said, Ronnie smiled at him. "Oh, how much I love you, Charles." Ronnie said, as she gave him a hug. "Heard anything from Nate?" Chuck asked, "Nope." Ronnie said, she saw Talulah had now woken up. "Good morning, my beautiful girl." Ronnie said, Talulah grinned up at her mother.
Chuck gently caressed Talulah's head. Talulah giggled, Ronnie smiled at her daughters cuteness. "She's so adorable." Ronnie said. After a few more moments, Ronnie and Chuck decided to get up from the couch. "I have to go back to my place soon." Ronnie said, "I can walk with you, if you'd like." Chuck offered, "No, it's okay. Thank you for the offer tho." Ronnie declined, she needed to clear her head alone.
Ronnie got dressed into something simple, she put Talulah in a outfit she had left here before, Chuck strapped Talulah into her stroller while Ronnie put her shoes on. Once Ronnie was ready, she looked over and saw Chuck speaking in a baby voice to Talulah. He was such a softie at heart, whether he admitted it or not. Ronnie laughed silently, shook her head. "Thank you for letting me stay the night, Chuck." Ronnie thanked Chuck, as she went over to Chuck and Talulah.
"Anytime, princess." Chuck said, Ronnie gave her best friend a hug, before taking the stroller and heading out of Chuck's room. She headed down in the elevator, she saw Serena and Nate talking in reception, Nate caught her looking, he looked down at Talulah with a wide-eyed expression before looking away back to Serena. Ronnie rolled her eyes, continued walking outside. She started her walk back to The Gordon Palace.
Ronnie bumped into Dan Humphrey. "Hey, Dan. It feels like it's been ages since I seen you." Ronnie spoke to the Brooklyn boy. "Yeah, it does. I, um, seen that everyone knows about your baby." Dan gave an apologetic smile. Ronnie sighed, "It was a secret waiting to be revealed. It was only a matter of time before it happened." Ronnie said, Dan nodded. "How's things going with Serena?" Ronnie asked Daniel Humphrey.
"They're good, I think. We seem to doing good, we've had a few fall outs but nothing major." Dan said, Ronnie nodded her head. "That's great. I'm so happy for the two you." Ronnie gave a genuine smile to Dan. "Thanks, Ronnie. I hope everything works out for you, with the whole baby situation." Dan said, "Oh, don't even get me started. Thank you, tho." Ronnie sighed, "I'll see you around?" Dan asked, Ronnie nodded. "I'll see you, Dan." Ronnie smiled.
Ronnie carried on walking towards her house, once she got home she saw an empty house. Nobody was here, not even Judith. Ronnie looked at a note that was on the table, 'Good morning, Ronnie, we've gone out for some breakfast this morning, we gave Judith the morning off. - Mom' Ronnie didn't really care that her mother and father had gone out, it didn't bother her.
Ronnie walked to the fridge, got out some strawberries, apples and grapes to make a Fruit Salad as she liked to call it for breakfast. Ronnie made a bottle for Talulah, fed her while she was multi tasking cutting fruit at the same time. Once Talulah had finished her bottle, Ronnie laid her down on the couch as she ate her own breakfast. Ronnie didn't have many plans for today, although the Mascaraed Ball was tomorrow night, she did have to get a dress.
Ronnie decided to ask Blair if she wanted to go dress shopping together, since they haven't spoken much since Blair found out about Talulah, Ronnie wanted to make sure everything between the two of them wasn't awkward. "Hey, Ronnie. What's up?" Blair spoke into the phone on the other end, "Hi, B. I was just wondering since I haven't got a dress for the mascaraed ball yet, if you wanted to come shopping with me." Ronnie asked, hoping Blair was accept the invite. "Yeah, sure. I'd love too. I was hoping to do some shopping anyway." Blair said, Ronnie smiled.
"Is it okay if I bring Talulah tho, my parents are out and Judith's got the morning off." Ronnie said, "Yeah, of course!" Blair said, Ronnie smiled through the phone again. "Great. I'll meet you at your place in an hour?" Ronnie asked, "I'll see you there." Blair said, Ronnie hung up the phone. Ronnie picked up Talulah, walked upstairs to her bedroom, Ronnie placed Talulah in the baby swing she has in her bedroom, Ronnie looked through the closet.
Ronnie picked out a cute, basic dress with some matching heels. Ronnie put on natural makeup, she curled her hair. "Let's get you ready, missy." Ronnie said to Talulah, she kissed her cheek as she lifted her baby up. Ronnie picked out an adorable Ralph Lauren outfit. Ronnie didn't put a pair of shoes on Talulah, she gently tickled her in a way to play with her. Talulah's blue eyes lighten up as she giggled. "You're so beautiful, sweet girl." Ronnie said, headed downstairs. "Hi, Eddie. Could you take me to The Waldorf home." Ronnie smiled at their family driver.
"Of course, Miss Ronnie." Eddie said, Ronnie smiled at him as she put Talulah in her car seat and Eddie put the stroller in the trunk. Talulah sat in the limousine, as Eddie got into the drivers seat. Eddie began driving, Ronnie looked over at Talulah who was playing with her own hands, her pacifier fell out her mouth. Ronnie placed it back in her daughter's mouth. Talulah looked over at her mother and giggled. Ronnie was obsessed with Talulah, she couldn't imagine her life without her.
Ronnie soon arrived at The Waldorf's home, "Thank you." Ronnie thanked the driver, Eddie. Ronnie placed Talulah into her stroller, began walking into the building, she went into the elevator. "Are you ready to see Blair, baby?" Ronnie asked her daughter, although Talulah didn't really know who Blair was as she'd only met her once. Once the elevator arrived at Blair's home, Ronnie walked inside. "Good morning, Eleanor." Ronnie smiled at Eleanor Waldorf.
"Hello, dear." Eleanor said, she looked down at Talulah. "Oh, hello, little one." Eleanor said, went eye level with Talulah. Talulah got excited, she loved people. Talulah was smiling, "Oh, she is adorable." Eleanor said, Ronnie smiled. "Thank you, Eleanor." Ronnie said. Ronnie saw Blair coming down the stairs, "Good morning, my favourite humans." Blair said, a smile on her face as she comes down the stairs. "You look beautiful, as always, Blair." Ronnie said to her best friend, "You look fabulous yourself." Blair spoke.
"I'll see you girls later." Eleanor said, as Blair and Ronnie headed for the elevator. "Goodbye, Eleanor." Ronnie smiled at the older Waldorf. "Bye, mother." Blair said, "Hello, beautiful baby." Blair said to Talulah, who once again starting smiling and waving her arms around from the stroller. "How did Nate react?" Blair asked as the pair of them began waiting across the streets for shopping. "He was very mad. We're not speaking right now." Ronnie said.
Blair gave a small smile, "I'll speak to him for you, Ron. He'll come around." Blair said, Ronnie smiled at her best friend. "Thank you, Blair. And thank you, again, for being so understanding over this whole situation." Ronnie thanked Blair, "Well, it's not like we can go back time, is it?" Blair said, "Yeah." Ronnie said, they went into a store to look for dresses.
And just like that, it's as if Ronnie never left between her and Blair.
