I was practically running to lunch. I was about to be late and if I knew them they'd find a seat with some of their friends instead of waiting. Or, they'd just sit together and talk non-stop.

I ran to their table and saw them laughing and almost yelling at eachother. 'Their laughs are so loud'. Miyah sounded like she was dying and Mariela sounded like a snicker, basically snickering.

"Hey guys, sorry I took so long. That assistant teacher pisses me the fuck off. I don't even know why she was there, she left after like two minutes then came back just to scold me. She's lucky I don't get my grandma to beat her old ass." I said and rolled my eyes.

Miyah was on her phone showing Mariela something. Probably a picture or a video or something. Mariela was laughing and Miyah had the biggest smile on her face.

"Uh, guys?" I said. "Oh, we heard you! I was just showing Mariela this video, wanna see?" She asked as I shrugged. She showed me and I bursted out laughing, though the laugh was pretty loud.

We got some stares but I didn't mind. That's when I remembered what I came here for in the first place. 'Right, Jayden.' I looked up at them and they were sharing some sort of candy. I have no idea where they got that from.

"So, are we gonna talk about Jayden?" I asked and leaned a little forward so I could whisper. They both nodded and Miyah immediately had this big smile on her face.

"We should make a code name for him!" "Yeah we should!!" Mariela agreed. Then all of a sudden Miyah got out this notebook from her bag and started flipping through pages til she found a page labeled, 'code names'. I didn't even recognize half of the names.

"Uh, what's this?" I asked and Miyah looked up at me. "This is the page where I put all the code names me and Mariela make or the ones I make with other people." Miyah said with a grin. "Yeah, and I've only seen like three!" Mariela says in an upset tone and looks away from Miyah.

"What?! You've seen way more! You're acting like I don't show you anyone!" Miyah said. It ended up in a back and forth til they got upset with fighting with each other over such a dumb thing. They hugged it out then focused their attention back on me, I was just watching.

"Well, what code name?" I ask. "I say jelly bean."
Miyah says and Mariela shrugs and agrees.

"Okay, so what about Jelly bean? What did you want to talk about?" Miyah asked and leaned forward.

"Uhm, I uh, I wanted to ask you guys some questions actually.." I said nervously and scratched my neck.

"We don't do threesomes." Miyah said almost immediately as Mariela looked at her with a shocked face. "What..?!" Mariela said with a concerned look on her face.

"No! I want to know if I'm gay or not and since you guys are y'know, women I thought it'd be easier to talk to you guys about this. Like, you'd be less judgmental.." I said and fidgeted with my fingers.

"Oh yeah we're great with that. I thought you already were gay. But then when you got that girlfriend I was thinking more bisexual." Miyah said. "I just knew you were fruity. You're always flirting with guys." Mariela said and I looked shocked.

"Okay but what about you and Miyah? You guys flirt all the time?!" I said and crossed my arms. "That's because we're bestfriend's. This is like the love of my life for real." Miyah said and hugged Mariela.

"Isn't she dating y'know, Aiden?" I said and Miyah huffed. "Yes, but I don't mean it seriously obviously." Miyah said and rolled her eyes. "Now let's talk about you and jelly bean~!" Miyah said and smiled wide.

"Well, I think I may like him but I'm pretty sure I'm straight.. It's just that he has such pretty eyes, such soft and smooth lips, his lips are also kinda sweet, his warm hands and just everything about him gives me butterflies. I've never felt this way about someone, not even my ex." I said.

"That sounds gay." Mariela said and Miyah laughed. "You're so gay!" Miyah said and leaned on Mariela's shoulder and laughed. "Wait, taste?" Mariela and Miyah said in sync.

"Shut up.." I said and looked down. I blushed lightly and put my shirt over my face to hide it. "Hey, don't worry. If you like him we don't care we'll help you win him over~!" Mariela said. I smiled and Miyah looked like she had just zoned out even though she was just laughing a couple seconds ago. 'Good thing they ignored that slip up of "taste", I don't think be able to handle the questions.'

"Do y'all think soup is a cereal?" Miyah asked and I looked at her crazy. "I don't know." Mariela said and looked over at Miyah. I was about to respond before the bell rung.

"Alright, I'll see you guys la-" "Cmon Enzo!" Ethan said and dragged me out of my seat. I waved at them as I got dragged out of the room. After a while I got up and pushed Ethan off of me.

"I can walk by myself shithead." I said and hit him on the back of his head. "Well, you weren't coming so I decided to take matters into my own hands. And why didn't you sit with me and the guys?" Ethan asked.

"Because I had some uhm, questions for Miyah and Mari.. don't worry..!" I said nervously. 'Gosh, why did I have to sound so nervous?!'

He looked at me curiously as we walked our way too class making sure to be quiet. "You sure? You seem.. nervous. Is this about, y'know? I may not be the smartest but that doesn't mean I'm blind or stupid. I know when someone has a crush!" He teased.

"Shut up, I don't have crush on anyone..! At least, I don't think.." I said shyly. Ethan gasped and pointed at me with a knowing look on his face. "I knew it!" He said.

"Hush Ethan! Like I said, I don't think I have a crush on hi- THEM! I don't think I have a crush on them! Y-yeah.. I'm still trying to figure it out okay..?" I told him. He nodded but looked at me curiously. 'I doubt he believed that cover up.'

"I don't really believe that but, if you don't wanna talk about it I guess you just don't wanna talk about it. That's fine. Just know that, if you feel comfortable you can trust me, I promise I won't judge or say anything bad, alright?" Ethan said reassuringly.

"Thanks man. I uh, I'll tell you during class.. if I'm up to it because it's pretty personal or I think, serious would be the better word for it." I said and nervously rubbed the back of my neck.

"Alright just let me know man." Ethan said as we entered the class and sat in our seats.

We forgot about it for a little bit and just laughed and talked about nonsense. But while we were laughing a certain voice caught my attention.

"U-uhm.. My teacher wanted me to give this to you.. She didn't say why just said it was important.." I heard Jayden's voice. I almost melted from the sound of his voice. I stopped laughing and looked over at him, I didn't realize I was staring til he left the room and I heard Ethan saying 'ooo' in my ear.

"You like him don't you? You like your brother's best friend huh? That's not surprising." He said and I turned my head over to him quickly. I furrowed my brows and covered his mouth. "Hush! Shhh..! I don't know if I do, okay? I'm pretty- no, I'm 𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞 that I'm straight. I don't like guys.." I said and looked away.

He clicked his tongue and shook his head. "Whatever you say." He said and I laid my head down on the table. I was baffled he even suggested that I was gay. I'm not gay.
