Chapter 2

"Alright, while waiting for the others let's make sure the windows and the door are unlocked, we don't want them barge in and destroying my house again." Taeyong stated as he was getting ready for the clan annual meeting.

The meeting is usually held every quarter of the year. The purpose of it was to catch up with everyone's well-being. Either they had expanded their clan by making new members or report to their leader about any suspicious act that can cause any harm to the clan.

Taeyong wouldn't mind the members being expanded but he would want a valid reason on why they decided to turn a human into one of them. If it meant to save their lives from death, he will be the happiest to do so.

"Wait, do we supply enough blood?" Johnny opens their chiller storage to check inside. Jeno and Jaemin were moving the couches so they would have more space in the middle.

Each of them had a variety of abilities and all of them have one thing in common, which is acute senses. But as years passed being with Taeyong's clan, they cannot consume human's blood and with that, they had drained their strength a bit, but they are still inhumanely strong.

"I almost got caught today." Jisung, the youngest of the clan came in looking irritated. He swiftly lay down on top of the couch that Jeno was about to move.

"Excuse me, mouse. Mind move your ass" Jeno tilted the couch a bit as Jisung rolled down and fall over. He continued as if nothing happens.

"What had caught you again?" Taeyong asked looking at the youngest with a worried look. He wouldn't want anything bad to happen, especially getting exposed.

"The cats were following me, I tried to scare them off, but they kept being behind me." Jisung stood up, wiping his bottom.

Jeno and Jaemin rolled their eyes. Taeyong sighed with a smile. Jisung can communicate with animals. He can either verbally call for them or he can just give directions with his eyes. Let's just say the animals loved him.

"Jisung, I know you are 18 years old, but you are practically older than me." Jaemin said in annoyance. Jisung was only the youngest by his mortal age but still the rest of the clan babied him so much which made him act more and more like he is supposed too.

"Woah, look at the view." Jisung uttered as he looked around, the rest who were also present was mesmerized with their surroundings.

The normal looking apartment of their leader turns to views of nature with mountains, the sounds of waterfalls and birds flying around. They were captivated with the view until their leader let out a cough.

"Jaehyun, whatever you are doing. Please stop." Taeyong interrupts Jaehyun's mind who was controlling the illusions. The rest scowled.

"What? I was lifting the mood up; you guys are being boring as usual." Jaehyun came in with a smile, piercing his dimples in.

Taeyong had lived with them for quite some time, so he seems to know each of their personalities very well. All of them blend well with each other greatly except for one- he thought. Out of all, he agreed to the fact that Mark has the most traumatizing transformation out of all.

"Looks like they are here..." Taeil said as he appeared next to Taeyong, all of them glanced at the window then at the door and turned back their head to Taeil.

"If it's meant for them to be here for like another hour, can you at least finish what you saw." Johnny who was right behind Taeil, patting his head.

Taeil can see the future, well subjectively. His precognitions can be quite accurate and was quite useful during their time in the past. But things that occurred in the future can be changed.
