I walked into school the very next day with confusion written on my features. Everyone was staring at me, and at first, I'd thought it was because I still had scratches and bruises on my face. But soon enough, I realised, they weren't looking at me with a "what happened?" Expression. It seemed, everyone already knew what had happened, and exactly why they were staring.

I couldn't imagine why, it's not like anyone was there, and even if Stella, Izzy, Ashton or Michael had told people, it still didn't feel like the reason people were staring.

Stella made a direct beeline for me, her face set in a frown and her strides purposeful. My eyes widened as she stormed up to me, grabbed my wrist, and dragged me to the closest girls bathrooms.

"Spill, now," she snapped, crossing her arms over her chest in a way that told me she was mad.

I cocked my head to the side. "Huh?"

"You and Jack?" She said, her eyebrow raised as she spoke like it was obvious. "How could you not tell me you were dating him?"

I shook my head, eyes wide. "Because I'm not."

"Not what it looks like in the video that's going around," she scoffed, pulling out her phone. I started down at the screen, watching the intimate moment between Jack and I right before Reid had attacked us. I gasped, feeling violated that he'd been filming us.

"He was recording?" I whispered, alarm coating my words. Stella looked at me with confusion, her eyes asking a million questions. I looked at her, suddenly dreading facing the rest of the student body, Jack included.

"Do you mean that the entire school has seen this?" I choked, coughing. "And they now think I'm dating Jack Hughes."

Stella grimaced sympathetically. "I've heard at least eight rumours this morning about you guys, there's even a rumour going around that you slept with both boys in the one night."

I groaned, throwing my head in my hands. I wanted to cry.

"There's more," Stella pressed cautiously. I threw my head back, frowning as I took a deep breath. She gave me an apologetic smile, scrolling Instagram until she found the post she'd saved. It was posted from Hayley's account, a photo of her and Reid kissing, the caption telling the world that they'd been together since before I had even started seeing the hockey captain. I held back tears, was everything the two of them told me a lie? Clearly Hayley was never really my friend, and Reid never truly cared about me, it was all a power play and a joke. "I'm sorry," Stella whispered.

I pushed down the urge to cry, shaking my head and putting on a brave face. "Doesn't matter," I told her, plastering a smile on my lips. "I don't need them, I have you and Izzy and Michael and—"

"Jack?" Stella cut in, grinning like a maniac. I glared at her, warning her not to keep pushing. She giggled. "Oh, come on, Lyla! You can't tell me you don't feel anything for the guy?"
