My Hero (Superhero Eren x Reader)

Tears were streaming down on your face. You hiccuped as you wiped away the tears. You looked up at your cat in the middle of the road even though your tears made your vision blurry.

You were just taking your cat for a walk, when it saw a butterfly and started to chase it. You ran after your cat when you saw it cross the street. After a few seconds, a car had came and ran over your cat.

The person who was driving the car was a woman with brown hair and dark brown eyes. She quickly came out of the car and saw your terrified face. She quickly rushed to the front of the car and saw that she had ran over your cat.

A boy with brown hair and turquoise eyes saw that you started to cry through the car's window. He got out of the car and ran towards you.

He awkwardly pats your back and said his condolences. You stopped crying and looked at the boy."Um hey, don't cry everything will be alright. Your cat is in a safer place now where your cat doesn't have to worry about fear, pain, stress, and all that other bad stuff that happens to all of us." He smiled at you onced he finished his sentence.

Your eyes widen. Even though you missed your cat terribly, he was right. Your cat didn't have to suffer all of that anymore. You sniffed and took a deep breath and tried to manage a smile. The boy looked at you weirdly, but after a couple of tries, you finally managed to smile.

"Thank you so much for comforting me um..." You tried to thank him, but you didn't know his name. "Eren. Eren Jaeger." He said. "Well thank you Eren for comforting me. I really appreciate it." You said.

Eren's mom had came over with your mom who looked sadden also. "I'm really sorry about what happened. Can I repay you somehow." Eren's mom said with guilt in her eyes. Your mom shook her head "It's okay, there's no need" she looked at you and Eren and smiled. "I think she'll be alright"

And that was the start of your friendship.

Time skip to a couple of years-

It was your last year of middle school. You were sitting at your desk, waiting for the day to be over. You suddenly remembered the day when you and Eren first met. You smiled at the memory. Ever since then, you and Eren were inseparable, he would try his best to make you laugh and smile and tease you when you did something embarrassing.

The bell rang signaling the end of the day. You got up from your chair and stretched. You quickly gathered your things and headed out the door.

As you walked out the door you noticed Eren by the wall waiting for you. You walked towards Eren and gave him a hug. Eren blushed by the sudden contact.

"Hey Eren. How was class?" You asked. "Eh... Boring, but good." He replied while scratching the back of his head. You noticed that he was staring at you "What's wrong?" You asked tilting your head. Eren blushed even more and stuttered out, "N-Nothing at all." "C'mon, something is wrong" You said as you placed your hands on your hips and raised an eyebrow.

Eren was nervous, you could tell by the way he avert his eyes to the ground and played with the hem of his shirt. "Um, I-I need to tell you something, (Y/N)" He looked straight into your eyes and handed you a box that was wrapped with a ribbon. You looked at the gift in surprise and felt a blush rise to your cheeks.

"I was wondering if you would be my valentine (Y/N)?" Eren said looking down. You couldn't help but smile. "Of course" you said giving Eren a small peck on the cheek. You giggled as you watched Eren blush darken and was grinning like a dork.

"I thought you would say no." Eren said. "Now why would I say no to my best friend. I wouldn't say no to a cute guy anyway." You said while blushing. Eren laughed nervously again. You noticed that it was already sunset. "We should leave" You said grabbing his hand and started to walk back home. Eren intertwined your hands together and the both of you walked back home in comforting silence.
