Staying away from her

It's been a few weeks since Vivaan moved to his own house which he had rented a month ago. He didn't tell about this to Myra. Because he knew, if he says it to her, he might have to move away from her. But now situations have changed.

Myra always saw him as she went to her hospital by that road.

He was somehow managing his business and the household chores.

That day, while he was sitting in his balcony, his landlord arrived. He greeted him and offered him a seat. Both sat. The landlord talked to him a bit and finally coming to the point he said, "Look Vivaan, I know it must be a bit hard for you to find a house for yourself in this city. But I'd like to increase the rent. Because I'm facing some financial problems and I also have my daughter's marriage at the end of this month. So you need to pay a little more for the rent."

Vivaan looked at him and said, "No worries, I'll pay the extra rent. Please tell me by how much are you going to increase it?"

"I'd like you to pay ₹5000 extra each month."

"But that's too much!!"

"I know. And I even know that you won't deny me."

"Sorry Mr. Bose but it's impossible for someone like me to pay so much. I can't pay so much money. I also have a business which haven't even been strong enough. I request you to please reduce it to 2-3000."

Mr. Bose was not ready to leave any money and the conversation soon turned into an argument.

"Ok, if you can't pay the rent, then I've another offer for you."

He looked at him.

"Marry my second daughter Inaya. She's really fond of you."

Vivaan was shocked. He denied him directly. He thought for a while and said, "I've already told you Mr. Bose that I've a girlfriend and I love her. Then how can you ask me to marry your daughter whom I barely know?"

"Then pay the rent."

"No. I'd better leave. Just give me the day. I'll pack and leave."

"You won't find any vacant houses now, in the city."

Before Vivaan could say something, a voice came, "He'll stay with me, in my house."

Both turned to see who it was.

Vivaan was stunned to see Myra standing there.

"Who are you? And why are you interfering in a confidential matter?"

"I'm the one Vivaan was talking about. I'm his girlfriend." She announced.

Vivaan was looking at her confused, still happy to see her.

She went to him and held his hand, "Hey baby, how are you?"

Vivaan passed a faint smile.

"Ahaan, pack your bags, I'll be waiting for you in the car."

"Who's Ahaan?"

"I call him Ahaan. Do you have any problem?

Mr. Bose was quite. He didn't speak further.

She gestured Vivaan and went to her car.

Mr. Bose was looking at them, still shocked what was happening. He thought of making Vivaan his son-in-law, but never thought that his girlfriend would appear out of nowhere.

After sometime, Vivaan came out with his luggage. He looked at Mr. Bose and handed him the rent for the month, folded his hands to greet him and left.

Inside the car, Myra was waiting for him. He came and took the seat next to her. Without further discussion, they drove home.

She said, "You can stay here as long as you want or atleast till the time you find a proper place to live in."

"So? You want me to leave again. Fine, I won't take longer to find a house."

He went inside.

"I never want you to leave." She murmured and drove to the hospital.
