Jennie woke up and it was 6:00 in the morning and Kai was still asleep. She did her morning routine and went downstairs to make breakfast.

It was around 7:30 when Kai came downstairs and was looking happy.

Jennie: Morning, baby. How are you?
Kai walked over to Jennie and kissed her on the lips.
Kai: I'm doing fine and I'm going to stay home because today is my day off.
Jennie had finished making breakfast and placed it on the table.

They sat down at the table and started eating.
Jennie: Oh, remember. We're having a pool party tomorrow, and all the girls are coming. Invite the boys.
Kai: Yeah. I'm going to be the only boy there.
After they finished, Kai washed the pan, and Jennie kissed him on the cheek before leaving.
Jennie: Bye.
She walked out to her garage and drove to the Kim Corporation building. She walked to her office feeling better. When she reached her office, her assistant told her that she had some meetings and a little bit of paperwork left.
When Jennie sat down, she took her phone and called Jisoo to thank her for doing her work yesterday.
Jisoo: Hey. What's up, Jennie?
Jennie: I just wanted to thank you for doing the work for me yesterday.
Jisoo: It's fine. But Jennie, I think you need to be careful. What if they come back?
Jennie: Unnie, they won't. I'll make sure of it. Are you coming to the pool party?
Jisoo; Yes. Jennie, I might be late, but I'll be there.
Jennie: Okay. Bye Unnie.
Jisoo: Bye.
Jennie hung up and went back to doing her work. It was 3:00 in the afternoon when she left. She drove back to the Kim Mansion, showered, and got changed into a different outfit.

She walked downstairs to the living room and saw that Kai was eating some ramen.
Jennie: How was your day off?
Kai looked up, saw Jennie, and smiled.
Kai: Good. I watched the rest of King the Land.
Jennie walked over and smacked Kai on the hand.
Jennie: Hey! We were supposed to watch it together!
Kai: What? Curiosity got the best of me. The ending is really good. You see...
Jennie covered her ears.
Jennie: LALALALALA. I CAN'T HEAR YOU!
Kai laughed and continued to eat his ramen. Jennie walked towards the living room to finish watching the rest of King the Land.
Jennie: I wish that this was real life. The chemistry between them is undeniable.
Kai: Jennie, you've been watching that drama for 6 hours.
Jennie: Well, can you blame me for wanting to finish this drama? You watched the rest of the series without me, and as every drama is, the episodes all ended in cliffhangers.
Kai: What do you expect? It's a drama.
Kai kissed Jennie on the cheek and sat next to her on the couch. He wrapped his arm around her neck and she leaned against him as they flicked through Netflix, finding another K-Drama to watch.
Kai: I'm sorry for watching it without you. How about we watch another one? True Beauty?
Jennie: Sure. But I'm really tired, so don't be surprised if I fall asleep after the first episodes.
After the first episode, Jennie fell asleep, and Kai turned the TV off. He carried her upstairs to their bedroom, like always.
Kai: Goodnight
Kai smiled and went outside to their balcony to get some fresh air. Today might have been a normal day for them, but tomorrow was going to be full of surprises.
