" hey Lo can I borrow your mascara?", her friend yelled from across the room. The girls Logan and Mariah were getting ready to go out this evening.

Without hesitation Logan handed her friend her mascara , as she was sitting in her vanity chair. Doing a simple makeup look on this fine evening. Her hair was already done, wavy up do ponytail. The girls were going to this event that involves drinking, dancing and possibly food.

This event is more on the influencer side. Since Logan is an upcoming influencer living in typical California. Not originally LA but more on the city side since she was raised in New York. San Francisco is where she lives and loves this part of California

" there better be bomb ass food. I'm starving ", her friend Mariah blurted out . Logan smiled as she can relate to her friend's comment " we can get food before the event "

" hopefully theres some cute guys for you. Im really trying to find you a good guy. You haven't dated since high school since..."

" Gavin.."

Gavin hollow Logan's high school sweetheart ex - boyfriend. Those two were inseparable. Dated for 5 in a half years until she ended up moving to California and him moving to Oklahoma for college. The thought of long distance wasn't up to par for the two lovebirds. They were still friends after the breakup but finding out your ex lover of 5 years got with another girl right away, was a little weird for Logan

Till this day she doesn't think she could find anyone that was as amazing as Gavin was to her. The way he treated her, cared for her, provided. He was the first boy to ever love her and show her true love.

Even though it's been 2 years since the breakup Logan hasn't fully recovered from that long term relationship.

" I've tried dating around, dating apps, nobody can't compare to him. He was everything to me. We spent our entire teenage years together and to throw it all away, well to me I'm a lover at heart so whenever it was time to let go that shit hurt. "

" you have to realize you guys were kids. You guys grew up together, as you guys grew up I saw how he was starting to get distant like during senior year whenever we would have friend gatherings he barely showed up. "

" he was in football and was focusing more on football his senior year. Our 4th year anniversary it seemed like he didn't even care. That's when I knew maybe this relationship is gonna end. "

" you guys were cute just really young and so in love. Now you're in your adult era your bag era. Relationships are the greatest thing in the world but for you, you just need to have fun. "

As the girls continued to get ready, doing their makeup, putting on their outfits and listening to some music to get in that mood. They were finally ready to leave Logan's apartment

In the car listening to some Drake on the way to get something to eat before they head to the event.

" tacos? "

" bitch fuck yeah! ", the girls drove over to downtown LA a couple hours from where they live to get some street tacos .

" best decision we've ever made!", Logan says as she enjoys every bit of her taco.

" if there's not any cute guys I say we go ahead and have a girls night ", Logan 100% agreed with Mariah's comment. A girls night which happens quite often for the two friends, will definitely happen

Once their tacos were demolished. The girls headed to the event a little late than everyone else but it's okay because there was nothing interesting at this event

Except for this one particular person. A boy he had blonde luscious wavy hair, he was pretty tall ( to Logan he was ) his style was unique, his eyes were sparkly light brown and his smile... his smile was the one thing that stood out to Logan the most

" Logan.. LOGAN! "

" huh.. sorry I ... uh you see that guy over there the blonde one dancing "

Her friend's eyes widen like she recognized him from somewhere. Which she did. " that's Ross lynch! ", Mariah said with an exciting tone in her voice. " who's that? ", Logan questioned not having a clue who this cute blonde boy is

Ross lynch a musician, rockstar, lover boy at heart, actor and many more things just look him up on the internet. Logan didn't really know who this Ross lynch is only because he's never been on her timeline before.

" you should definitely go talk to him. ", her friend said as her hands were placed behind Logan's back pushing her towards Ross

" what! No way! I don't even know him "

" that's why you talk to him to get to know him ", the girls friend last words before pushing Logan in front of the boy she was completely mesmerized by.

He was even more cuter face to face . He gently smiled at the girl as he continued to dance to the music with a drink in his hand. Logan was completely frozen just standing in front of this blonde boy awkwardly looking around her surroundings

" you don't like this song ?", he asked as he leaned into her ear from how loud the music was so she can hear him. The girl smiled and nodded her head " I do! I just was pushed by my friend randomly so I can be on the dance floor with a complete stranger "

He chuckled as he held out his hand introducing himself to her.

" I'm Ross "

" Logan "

" see now we're not strangers. Now let's dance ", as he continued to hold her hand. Twirling her around to make her smile the two danced the night away which led to a night with their clothes completely off and an forgettable memory of what happened between the two of them
