Chapter 3

We sped back to the clearing to find everyone circled Enzo who held Jeremy in a head lock. He stood smirking till he saw Damon and I. He wolf whistled and growled giving me a once over. "Well she's a lot more gorgeous than you let on let on Damon. She's also very-" "Married?" I asked raising an eyebrow at Enzo. 

"And very pissed off." I concentrated and Enzo howled in pain as both his arms broke freeing Jeremy. I brought Enzo to my knees. "You screw with my family and you screw with me." I glared down at Enzo throwing him back as Jeremy armed himself with a cross bow ready to aim. 

"Easy little Gilbert. He won't be a problem anymore." Damon raised an eyebrow. "You killed him?" I rolled my eyes. "I'm a bitch Damon not heartless. He's alive but-" Enzo rushed towards me only to go flying in the opposite direction. "He can't get in." 

Damon gave me a grateful smile. I knew Damon. He still cared about Enzo whether he wanted to admit it or not. I squeezed his shoulder which earned me a glared from Elena. "Now c'mon. Let's save what's left of our family." 

I walked over to the others. "Jeremy, Matt, Caroline, Elena go home. Tyler get ready and Damon you might wanna clear your head. This is gonna be a bit shaky." "Wait what?!" Elena asked confused. "You all served your purpose of protecting Bonnie. We came take it from here. Tyler can protect Bonnie just fine. Especially since he's stronger then all of you now go. You'll just be in the way here." I say trying to sound as calm as possible. 

"No we're staying." Elena said firmly. I raised an eyebrow at her then gave Damon a look. He shook his head. "Hard way it is." I flicked my wrist snapping her neck. "Go guys trust me. This spell sucks the energy out of everything in the area. It could kill you all with an exception of the anchor and the person being channeled. I am using a protection spell on Damon so he wont die. Go!" Caroline nodded lifting up Elena walking away with Matt and Jeremy on her trail.

 Enzo rushed at Jeremy who shot him with a vervain.  He was on the floor deep breathing as the others disappeared. Enzo lifted a fallen tree branch and broke it in half. He threw it at us hitting Tyler in the leg. He hissed in pain and ripped it out as it healed. I rolled my eyes and turned to face Enzo. "Oh give it a rest." I flicked my wrist snapping his neck. 

"Bonnie how do you feel?" I asked walking over to her. "I'm starting to get tired." She said sitting down in front of a tomb stone. "Whatever you do Bonnie stay conscious." I looked up into the sky then back at Tyler. "It's time. Damon get ready." I closed my eyes then started to chant. "Istio matha needema carisio dios trianda!" I extended my arm to Tyler and his eyes turned gold. I felt his energy surge through me as Damon disappeared. 

I closed my eyes and continued to chant. I entered Damon's mind and watched as he found Stefan and another blonde women. "I found Lexi! We can take her back with us can't we?" Stefan asked smiling brightly. "Of course brother. And guess who came back to visit?" Stefan raised an eyebrow. "Alice." 

"Well it's about damn time I meet the girl." They all turned to see a man walking towards them. "Alaric." Stefan hugged the man. "Ric good to see you again man. Well that makes life a lot easier. Let's go." They started to walk back to the spot where Damon had entered.

After what felt like hours Damon reappeared with Stefan, the blonde vampire named Lexi  and another male vampire. Ric? "Alice we're good." I stopped channeling Tyler and Bonnie stood up as I stopped the spell. Damon stood smiling and hugging his brother while Bonnie and Tyler said hello to the two other people. 

Damon looked at me. "Alice!" He said smirking but as he looked at me his smirk disappeared. "Alice? You're really pale are you okay?" Stefan asked worriedly. I nodded chuckling and deep breathing. I had used a lot of magic to do the anchor swap after failing to mend the damage done to the other side unsuccessfully.
