OFFICIAL SM ENTERTAINMENT STATEMENT

After a long and tough decision, we have decided to remove 3 of the members of NCT. We have come to the decision that they will be better off in our new upcoming boy group and hope their fans will follow them on this journey. The members that will be leaving NCT are, Kang Y/N, Sungchan and Shotaro, also known by fans as JOKiz.

"What the fuck?!" Y/n barges into the meeting room, all heads shifting to face him.

Y/n's manager cleared his throat lowly. "Y/n... we are in a meeting, you cannot just come in whenever you please."

"And you can't fucking kick me out of NCT without even telling me?!" His eyes were welling up with tears, filled with anger, frustration and sadness. "I thought it was just Sungchan and Shotaro... i thought the plan was to move them to Riize so they could have more opportunities. I'm in a fucking fixed unit, I've been with them since 2016 you can't do this to me."

Tension filled the air, the staff at the table avoiding eye contact. Y/n could barely stand at this point, everything he has worked so hard for was be taken from him so quickly.

"We think it'll be best to remove you from the group at this time. If this scandal gets too out of hand it can be very damaging for NCT." The manager explained, a soft smile on his face. "We can't risk getting rid of you all together, it's a split in the fandom for those who want you out and those who want to keep you. This way we can kind of cater to both sides. Plus, if we tell the fans it was to keep your golden trio together, it won't be suspicious at all."

Spoiler alert... it was suspicious.

The day after it was proven Y/n had a boyfriend? Really SM this is fucked up, moving  Sungchan and Shotaro makes sense, but Y/n after he was with NCT for almost 7 years now. What the hell is wrong with you guys

Was so distraught by Sungtaro leaving NCT back then that I forgot about this book and then yesterday I remembered and decided to do this:) hopefully this works out alright
