Monday Morning.
Omniscient.

Putting her car in park, Taelyn pulled the keys from the ignition and stepped out, small rock pebbles on the concrete crunched beneath her checkered Vans as she made her way to the back passenger door.

Opening the door she grabbed Mason's little backpack and smiled as he gave her an adorable grin, she then helped him out his car seat and locked her car.

She was dropping him off at daycare because she had work in about another hour since she had taken someone's day shift time. This meant she would be working until three thirty in the afternoon. and since she was getting off early, she planned to take Mason to the park and maybe the toy store inside of the mall.

Bringing herself a plate of leftover baked spaghetti for lunch, she couldn't wait to eat it. Happy that Sunday dinner went well, it warmed her heart to see that Chris's mom got along with her mom; they instantly clicked and she loved that for them.

Stepping into the building Taelyn approached the adorably decorated front counter and wrote her and Mason's name on the sign-in sheet before taking him to his classroom.

The sounds of children's music could be heard as she walked past a few of the other small rooms.

In the past she wanted to put Mason in a regular daycare with hearing children, but once she found this daycare he attended specialized in taking care of hard of hearing and deaf children, she couldn't wait to take him there.

The staff was amazing and they always treated each child with love and care.

Of course she wanted her baby boy to have a normal life and he would, but for now she felt like being around other children like him would suit him best.

"Good morning Ms. Justina!" She said with a smile to his other daycare teacher as she glanced
over to look at her, a smile on her face as she got the kids breakfast ready.

Taelyn gave Mason a kiss and hug, she told him that she loved him before putting him down keeping her gaze on him as he scurried over to one of his classmates playing with them.

His little curls bounced as he ran over to the little girl, she thought about getting his hair cut, but decided against it, because she'd rather allow him to make that decision once he was a little older.

"Good morning Taelyn! How are you?" She questioned as Taelyn stepped over to the cubbies so that she could put his things away. She hung up his jacket and bag before putting a change of clothes inside his cubby box just incase his shirt or pants became dirty from playing outside.

"I'm good!, I hope you are too, I'll be picking Mason up around three fifteen today," She said looking at my phone to check the time. " I took an earlier shift." She said as Justina nodded and smiled.

"That's fine, just let Melody know when you arrive and she'll let you sign him out. I do want to make you aware before you go that next Monday is pajama day and we will be watching a few movies and doing fun activities, so if you'd like to bring in a snack for him and the class or sit with us that's perfectly fine, I do have other parents bringing in things as well." She said as Taelyn smiled softly nodding, it was so sweet how they'd always have something the younger kids could participate in.

"That's so cute! I'll definitely set a reminder for myself so that I could run to the store on my way home, I think I'm off that day I'll have to check my schedule, but if I am I'll come sit with you guys for a little bit." She said before going to give Mason one last kiss as she headed out.

Justina and Taelyn spoke for a few minutes longer before she actually left the daycare, she didn't want to be late and their conversation about nothing really was cutting it a little close to her clock-in time although she enjoyed the conversation.
