The Desire Grand Prix, otherwise known as the DGP does not exist. Run by outside forces from another world, and organized by beings wanting for personal entertainment, the games are founded.
Every time the games begin new, the Game Master recruits those of the current world to become a part of it. Through the Games Navigator, Tsumuri, everyday citizens of the world are welcomed into the DGP as players, known as Kamen Riders. Every Kamen Rider takes part in a series of games, and trials, all for the ultimate prize on the line, to rewrite the world as they wish. To obtain what they otherwise couldn't. Get back what was lost. Or undo what was wrong. All according to the desires of the victor.
The current game cycle is coming to an end with the final boss having arrived to act as the final challenge for the Kamen Riders. When the cycle started, there were exactly twenty-five players, all with their own set desires and ambitions. As the games went on, those numbers dwindled rapidly. For the final game, there are only four that remain.
When a game starts, a barrier is put around a piece of a city, and made into a zone. This is created by the Jyamato. The enemies the Kamen Riders face as part of the games. Through playing these games, the Riders are able to save those trapped inside the barrier. If the Riders fail, the zone is lost.
The current game is Defend the Castle, with the Kamen Riders being the invaders. The Jyamato have a castle. The Kamen Riders have to destroy it within the given time to end the game. Should they fail, the zone and those lost during the game will vanish. The castle is located in the center of the zone, its location known to all the remaining Riders. However, protecting the castle is a horde of Jyamato. They come in various types. Pawns are the most common, mostly fighting unarmed. For this game, there are strong Jyamato. Armed with bladed weapons, they range in strength, becoming a greater challenge for the remaining Kamen Riders.
The remaining Kamen Riders fight their way through the hordes while on-route to the castle. Every Jyamato cut down by them adds to their score. Regardless of who destroys the castle, the player with the highest score is the overall winner. Destroying the castle does reward the destroyer with a jackpot of points.
With the castle in eye-sight, the Riders advance forward. Leading the charge through the horde is player Kamen Rider Obsidian. Currently second place on the leaderboard in terms of points, Obsidian rampages through the horde, swinging their armed mace on a chain like it was his personal wrecking ball.
Last on the leaderboard, and following after Obsidian, player Kamen Rider Emperor uses an armed crossbow to snipe at the horde of Jyamato before they even get close to him. Every common Jyamato he takes down adds to his steadily growing score.
Using the Desire Driver, the players are able to achieve their Kamen Rider forms. By default, they all share the same entry form. A black undersuit, with armoured padding around the torso, arms, and legs, with some Riders having an additional component to their design.
What sets them apart is their ID Cores and motifs. Acting as their right to play, the ID Core is unique to every Rider, containing everything about them, including their name. Each ID Core has a different colour and animal design on the front to dictate the Rider's motif.
Obsidian's motif is that of a rhino, giving him a grey mask with armour around the back, and a horn in the front. He also has a single white cloth wrapped around his thigh. Emperor is based on a dragonfly, giving him a purple and green colour scheme, and two large, buggy eyes, larger than the average player.
DUAL ON! ARMED SWORD! ARMED SHIELD! READY, FIGHT!
Using two Armed Buckles in the Desire Driver at once, player Kamen Rider Garuru crashes through the horde. Using the armed shield as a battering ram, he hacks and slashes the Jyamato that gets pushed aside. His motif is based on a wolf, with his main colour being dark blue. His mask reflects the animal with a pair of sharp ears and a desert scarf around his neck. Garuru's headstrong approach has put him third on the leaderboard and is slowly closing in on Obsidian.
