One Riot, Two Rangers Part 2

[ Andrew's POV ]

After me and Washoe brought in the men responsible for the deaths of my partner we got called into assistant District Attorney Alex Cayhill's office.

As me and my brother was almost at the office I asked Washoe.

Andrew: Have you ever met this Alex Cayhill before?

Cordell just looks at me then says.

Cordell: No but I hear he is one heck of an Attorney.

I sighed then said as we climbed the flight of stairs.

Andrew: I sure hope so brother, cause we didn't have a warrent for those guys, and I don't want then to walk.

He stops and puts his hand on my shoulder to stop me to then said.

Cordell: Trust me Andrew, they won't walk today our fallen brother will have justice.

I nodded to him and he did the same back as we continued to the top of the stairs, we get In front of his office Cordell knocks after a couple seconds we hear a rather feminine voice say.

Alex: Come in.

Me and Cordell look at eachother then he opened the door and step into the office to see a very attractive blonde woman me and Cordell looked at eachother as I cleared my throat as she turned around to see the both of us standing there, she came up to us and put out her hand then said.

Alex: Alex Cayhill, New Assistant District Attorney and you two must be the Walker brothers.

Cordell shakes her hand it was a rather long shake as they looked eachother in the eyes, I rolled my eyes then cleared my throat to break the trance as they jerked their hands back and she shook mine and I nodded, she made her way around her desk and sat down she saw we were still standing so see said.

Alex: Come please sit.

She said gesturing to two empty chairs, I leaned closer to Cordell and whispered in his ear.

Andrew: That is one beautiful man huh Cordell?

I said as I poked fun at him thinking she was a he, he just elbowed me in the gut that made me hold it in pain as we sit in the chairs as Alex spoke again.

Alex: I see that you Cordell and you Andrew, went to Mexico to apprehend the ones responsible for Your partners death.

She said pointing to me, I was getting ready to speak but she cut me off.

Alex: Did you get a warrent for their arrest?

I looked at Cordell and he looked at me then back to Alex as I said.

Andrew: Technically we didn't........

Before I could continue Alex cut me off again.

Alex: I see, you two do realize that they could walk cause of that little hiccup......

Before she could continue Cordell had enough then said.

Cordell: We did have permission.

Alex: From who I might ask.

She said putting her hands together looking at the both of us then I spoke.

Andrew: We got permission from the senator If you do t believe us call him.

I said as I brought out his number and put it on her desk, she took it then said.

Alex: I believe I will.

She said in a sarcastic way then Cordell said in sarcastic tone back at her with a fake smile.

Cordell: Please do.

She stopped putting in the number then looked back at him with a evil eye then went back to typing in the number, she got ahold of him.

Alex: Hello Senator, This is Assistant District Attorney Alexandra Cayhill, I'm here with Cordell and Andrew Walker they say you gave them permission to go over the border to apprehend the ones responsible for Andrew's partner......

She went quiet I knew the senator was giving her a mouth full as she stood there taking it all, I leaned over to Cordell he met me half way and I said.

Andrew: 20 bucks she is forced to apologize to us for her outburst.

He looked at me and said with a smirk.

Cordell: Deal.

He said as we spit and shook on it, just as we did she hung up and looked at us then said.

Alex: I'm sorry ....... for my outburst, and I'll start the proceedings you may go.

We get up and leave he office I look at Cordell and smirk cocky like then said with my hand out.

Andrew: Pay up Washoe.

He grunts then pulls out Is wallet and takes out a 20 dollar bill and smacks it in my hand then said.

Cordell: Sore winner.

I just laugh a little as we continue down the hallway going to Ranger HQ, we make it in the HQ to see CD sitting in Cordell's desk with his feet up, we look to him then to Trivette who just shrugs his shoulders, I make my way over to my desk on opposite side of Cordell's and beside the front of Jimmy's, Cordell taps CD's boots to get his attention, he looks up from his book and said.

CD: Ahhh Cordell (looks over to me) Andrew long time no see.

I tip my hat to him before I take it off as Cordell spoke.

Cordell: What are you doing in my seat CD?

CD: I was waiting on you to come back, you see I got a business proposal for you, picture this CD's bar and grill.

He says as he puts his hands up motioning it in the air, Cordell just shakes his head then said.

Cordell: You know I don't invest in anything.

CD: Ahh shoot Cordell, you need to think about the future.

He turns to me and smiled then said.

CD: How about you Andrew?

I think for a moment then say.

Andrew: Ok, but on one condition.

CD smiles then says.

CD: Ok what is it?

I smirk and look at Trivette and Cordell they shook their heads knowing what I'm gonna do, I turn back to CD and said.

Andrew: If we become partners and call it CD and Andrew's Bar and grill.

CD eyes lit up then said.

CD: You know I wanted to have one of the Walker's as a partner for a long time, Deal.

I get up and go over to him we shake on it, we smile at eachother knowing we will make it a success at this and to be honest I always wanted my own bar and grill.
