[After writing this I realized this is a bit boring but I promise it will get better!]
Third Person POV
Hacketts quarry

Everyone at hacketts quarry is getting ready to go home after a long summer break, it was a blast! The seven amazing counselors were there so of course it was fun! Especially Dylan lenivy, all the 11-12 year olds that went to camp always came running up to Dylan as soon as they saw him, but sadly summer was over and all the kids were heading back home. Kaitlyn was blabbering to Jacob about how he just got dumped by the famous vlogger, Emma Mountebank, and Ryan was sitting alone just under the lodge pillers outside. He always had been an outsider or in other words an introvert. Ryan being the way he is even had fun this summer, he was the sailing instructor over by the lake, he really enjoyed putting smiles on the kids faces, reminding him of when he used to cheer up his little sister, Sarah. Sometimes when Dylan was done the morning announcements he was ablgated to check on the other counselors and help them with the campers, he would most of the time make his way over to Ryan's area because he had a thing for him, not like it was a secret, he flirted with him all the time and sometimes Ryan would even flirt a little back but he tried not to make it known. Dylan and Ryan went to camp together when they were kids, it's how they met, they would hang out all the time and mess around with the radio Dylan always carried around, they had good times together.
-A few hours later-
Dylan's POV
Hacketts quarry
As soon as I was done packing I met Nick at the the bottom of the lodge steps, "hey what's up man?" I say waving, he nods but doesn't say anything. "You ok?" I ask, "yeah it's nothing just sucks that summer is over" He replies, "thats true, but there's no reason to be sad we'll be back next year!" I say excited, "thanks Dylan, you always know how to cheer people up" He says with a smile, "I try my best" I laugh along with him. The next thing I know everyone is gathered in front of the lodge with the van fully packed. We got our phones back so I was so gonna ask Ryan's number later, "where's Ryan?" Kaitlyn asks, "oh he's probably off being all brooding and mysterious and alluring somewhere" I say with a confident flirty tone in my voice before I notice Ryan behind me, "I'm here" he says. I instantly turn red, shit he heard that! "What were you doing under there? Having a little 'me party' ?" Kaitlyn asks Ryan, he has no expression as always, is it impossible to make him laugh? "Uh..no just listening to a podcast" he replies, "oh podcasts, nice that's cool" I say, trying to get Ryan to actually open up, Kaitlyn looks bored with the conversation. "What's it about?" She asks him, I have to say something that will lighten up the mood, "yeah what's it about? Is it about me?". With a genuine confused smirk Ryan turns to me, "you think I was listening to a podcast about you?", crap he probably thinks I'm super fucking lame...can I ever do anything right? Kaitlyn comes to my rescue and changes the subject to her, "ok if anyone had a podcast about them, it'd be me" she states confidently, "yeah if there was a podcast called how to look and smell like a butt" I say back, Ryan then laughs at my joke, it tugs my lips into a slight smile, "oh my God Dylan you are so childish!" Kaitlyn rolls her eyes, "well at least I don't look and smell like a butt!" I playfully argue back, Ryan laughs again and it puts another grin acrossed my face, he's so pretty when he smiles<3 wait wtf am I thinking? I snap out of my thoughts and realize their arguing about the hag of hacketts quarry so I join in. A few minutes later, Mr. H comes to take Ryan into his office where the van keys are, who knows what they even talk about, Ryan said we could share his earbuds which made my face turn a light shade of red. When they came back we tried to get the van running but something was happening? The van was broke down? The fuel line was cut! Mr.H freaked out and got really mad...I wonder why he was so worried? Ryan talked to him before he drove off with the other van, I looked at Ryan with confusion that most of the group had, "What's going on?" I asked, "Uh Mr. H wants us to stay inside for the night," he replied with a worried look on his face and his eye brows furrowed. "Are..you kidding me?" Emma seems annoyed at the fact we have to stay at camp until morning. "Em.." Jacob says being smug, "ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! WHAT ARE WE SUPPOSED TO DO?" Emma yells. "Well, we should stay inside like he said" Ryan replies, that's when an idea pops into my head, "we could go inside until morning...or...or we could do something else.." I say with a smirk, "what are you talking about?" Ryan looks at me with a confused expression, "P-A-R-T- why the fuck not?" I say with a playful smile on my face, "-no way! I'm in! Nick your in..Em?" Jacob inturups. "Hmm..yeah I'm in" Emma says with a wide smile, Jacob then looks to Kaitlyn, "I go where my people need me" she says putting her hands up in defense as she smirks. Jacob than looks acrossed to Abi, "Mr. H seemed pretty insistent on us staying in the lodge" she adds with a worried look on her face, in which Jacob responds with a smug adittude, "oh he was probably just trying to scare us- like one of Ryan's stupid ghost stories!", since I defended Ryan's tale earlier when Jacob said something, I gave Jacob a glare this time as well. "Why would he try to scare us?" Abi continued still worried. After a bunch of banter back and forth, Ryan then finally agreed to letting us throw the party, I was so excited, "yeah! Let's party! High-five touch my hand Ryan!" I say in a joyful tone, and turning to Ryan with my hand in the air, in which he high-fives me back and sighs, "fine...", "yes!" I say in excitement, "-but I just want to come out and say that I think this a bad idea!" He confronts, "ugh...it's OK man its gonna be chill.." I say whispering to him as the others groan as well thinking Ryan is just trying to destroy the fun, but I notice that he just needed some words of relief, he is really close with Mr.H afterall.

So sorry that this part is so boring! I promise it will be better in the next one I just have to get all of this outta the way because I'm boring :/ anyway I hope you guys enjoy me making a fool out of myself by me thinking I'm a "great writer" :D
